    What do think of new intake?

    It's an awsome intake. I'd definately consider it on a new stroker build. Depending on your combo/future plans it may well be the best. IMO, it isn't better enough to upgrade to it if you already have an upgraded intake, not for that money.

    Not sure. While you're taking pictures though, if you snap one of the shifter we can tell you what you have. Also, I've blown up several Centerforce DF's, they were always stiff as hell before they went. Just something to think about.

    How do you test the fuel guage sending unit???

    My wife's does that too-the needle stays above full until it's almost empty. When the needle finally drops, it's time to get to a gas station fast. I've had this happen in every Ford I've owned (5 of them) and it was always the sending unit. Not saying that's it, but I don't know how to test it...

    In my experience, those things all caused a bad miss, lurching/bucking, not just a hesitation. Should be checked anyway though I suppose... who knows?

    Well, my bolt on GT has a screamin hot coil, big wires and a dynamod ignition module, and I only gap my Motorcrafts at .042... not saying that's it, just an observation.

    eeee... dunno. If it's Motorcraft it will. You never know with their stuff. I've sent many hundreds, likely thousands, of $ to LRS. Some of it is real Motorcraft, lots of it is garbage. It pays to ask them when you order if it is a genuine Ford part or not. Don't ask if it's OEM, half the "OEM"...

    I'm thinking of calling him for my upcoming project as well... too many other fires to put out first. 261,000 miles and my 302 just won't quit so I can replace it. Everything else though... Fords. Dammit.

    They were one of the first ones to innovate a 347 that didn't suffer from the inherent weaknesses of that particular rod/stroke ratio. These days, I'd say it's six to one/half dozen the others quality-wise, but CHP has probably sold the most 347's.

    Yes, they wear out. Sometimes over many years, sometimes abruptly. They should last many, many thousands of miles, as long as the car isn't running like crap. I've seen originals go well over 100K without problems.
