LOL gonna put a 460 in my foxbody...

This thread has been nothing but one big argument....I see SmockDoiley's point, but no need to express your anger like the above, there are calmer way's to do so. Everybody has there own opinion's and idea's, and some people are smarter then other's.....DEAL with it. Shon

    Tremec tko install complete

Wouldn't work.... there isn't much meat left on the stock fork to position the cable further out. You could do a bit of fileing but not enough to make a difference. You'll have to get a longer fork.... Shon

    Roller cam conversion????

Gearbanger101..... From what I know The Link Bar Crane Roller lifter's can be used with any Brand/Type of Hyd. Roller Cam out there. I'm sure I've heard of people using them with a Comp Cam, Ed Curtis, Lunati, etc. etc. etc. Shon

    Roller cam conversion????

True Gearbanger101...keep in mind though mid 1967 to the early 70's 302 block's contained a higher nickel content resulting in a stronger block. The only downside is like you said having to deal with a 2pce rear main which is bearable. I'd say if you have a 67 to early 70's block... stick with...

    Roller cam conversion????

The Roller lifter's Comp Sell are basically the same as factory Ford Roller Lifters. For a non-roller block you need to buy a retro-fit kit which Comp makes. This kit contain's the part's nesecary to convert a non roller block to roller (Spider, Dog Bones, & Bolt's) You have to drill and tap 3...

LOL gonna put a 460 in my foxbody...

Take it easy people!!! No matter which way you go it's going to cost alot of money. Take what you estimate you think it's going to cost you and double it.... that's what it's actually going to cost you in the end run. As for 460's.... you dont have to buy Aluminum head's to get power out of a...

    H/C/I combo

Saltymaz.... Get it into your head.... your not making even close to 400rwhp, like you have claimed a couple of times in the past. Let's see some dyno sheet's..... I'll eat my short's if you make close too 400. You should lower the letter size on your "Lousiana Mustang Club". Your taking up...

holy crap, $800 Roller Rockers. new in summit

Shaft mount rocker's are great but really all a guy's need's for a street application is Stud Mount Roller Rocker's like Comp Pro Magnums etc. etc. Shaft mount is great for solid cam's and high RPM engine's.... You'd be spending alot of money for nothing if you wanted to slap those on a mild...

I running pretty much the same set up as you Grn92LX. Help with a powerful sound

I run Dynomax Bullet's with an X-Pipe and dumps and there loud as hell. They provide a nice low, powerful sound at low to mid RPM's and after that you cant even here yourself think. Keep in mind this is on a 550+HP engine so a mild 302 would still be loud but not excessively. Tailpipe's would...

Will it be safe to run Mobile 15W-50 this winter?

15W50 in the summer time is alright guy's... although I feel it is a bit overkill for a reletively stock engine (Rob's Horsepower) I've alway's liked 10W40 (Red Line) in the summer and is what I currently run in my 408. As for colder tempurature's I would not even consider running 15W50...
