    Hood clearence is not an issue. There is a 4" cowl hood on the car. The clearence I need to know is the intake to valve cover.

    I have Grundy. They would up the value effectivly making the premium a little more until I finally said enough, the cars are over insured. It is set up now that the value will not increase unless I call them and tell them to up the value.

    I just read the first and last page of this thread for the first time. Did you ever consider using cosmoline instead of grease. The military packs guns and anything else they want to store and not rust for years in that stuff.

    IIRC the third wire goes up and is connected into the harness with the parking lights. The plug should be a single female plug. One on each side of the car in the area of the headlight. You should be able to find it without taking the headlight bulb out.

    No, I havent got it out of the garage yet to do that. I now have a second problem. The brake pedal keeps going to the floor. I'm pretty sure that I just need to rebleed all the brakes. Has anyone else done this and not changed the power brake booster without issues??

    I just got done putting '91 5.0 spindles and brakes on the front of my '88 2.3 Mustang. Now I can tell that the tires are toed way in. I didnt think that there would be such a drastic difference in the two spindles but apparently there is! Has anyone else run into this problem??

    Well, I figured it out. When I replaced the pigtails on the headlights I matched colors but they did not match the wiring correctly. After I changed the pins in the socket yesterday everything works properly now.
