    65mm or 70mm TB?

I just added an edelbrock performer and a 70mm TB. I do plan on adding a power adder someday, and only wanted to buy one once. I don't suffer any driveability problems. Still idles like a kitten (probably because I still have the stock heads and cam). I picked it not only just for not...

    5sp 3.55 vs 3.73

i run the 3.55, I don't really have an issues with them. At the time, they seemed like the right choice, but I would rather have 3.73 since my car is still N/A. Don't worry about 3.73 being too high. You'll be fine.

    EGR spacer question

The EGR spacer does something different than the smog pump. The smog pump adds oxygen to either the cats, or the cylinders heads, to help create a cleaner combustion. With modern cats, its' not needed anymore, and most people can pass emissions w/o it. The EGR spacer is used to circulate...

    Stainless braided line

You can buy hose kits from pep boys that go around your existing coolant lines. Most are like that. Sorry, no articles to post.

    Polishing Supercharger??????

Oy. Look here: http://digitallights.com/somethingwicked/past_projects.html And now that it's clear I've polished stuff :) I also recommend you purchase a quality bench-top grinder. You can get one from Sears for about $99. I've used mine for more hours than I care to admit, and it's...

My door doesn't wan't to open then It's uner 32* outside

I had that problem. It's not the latch, it's the door lock actuator, a piece of crap part that, when voltage is applied, locks and unlocks the door automatically. When it freezes (and is old), the thing starts to sieze up, And since it won't move, you can't unlock the door. Total PITA...

Think twice before installing subframe connectors

It can't be said enough, well-crafted subframes are an absolutely essentially addition to any FOX based chasis. You need to eliminate chassis flex to let the suspension do it's job. I'm so happy I put mine on 5 years ago, and with jacking rails, and some other bracing, it's made a world of...

    Purdy engine bay...

Perhaps I was unclear in my first post. The white residue is the result of a chemical reaction between Simple Green, and the bare aluminum. This is ONLY a problem if you spray the simple green on, and just wipe it off without any rinsing, or let it dry on the aluminum without wiping. The...

    Purdy engine bay...

Be careful with liberal applications of Simple Green on aluminum. It's an accelerant for oxidation of aluminum. If you're rinsing right away, you'll be fine, but don't do like I did, and spritz it on and wipe it off. You'll sit there wondering next week what all the white crap on your shiny...
