    Handling....what's handling??

Oh God ... Every car can be modified to handle better than the next. It just takes a bit more $$$ and ingenuity. Thats why there are aftermarket parts out there. BUT.... A properly set up car is nothing without a good driver...

    Handling....what's handling??

I have the Max. Motorsports 3 link in the rear. with your budget this is what I would do... Adjustable LCA Caster/Camber Plates Bilsteins HD Shocks/Struts and some subframe connectors. and just use the current springs you have now... all of the above will give you a good...

    Shocks

Bilsteins seems to be the most popular around here. I have them...I cant compare them to anything else but stock...but they are holding up pretty good after 3 years and about 50k miles. They're also rebuildable. If you can wait...I'd find a decent set of used ones. I've seen a used set...

    Pictures!!!

Why is the majority of the right side doors I see on our cars not lined up correctly with the fender? My door does the same thing. I haven't had a chance to take a look but does anybody know how to re-allign/adjust the door? Nice car BTW!

    The perfect wheels

What's your budget? If the sky's the limit. I would go for some CCW's, True Forges, or even HRE's ;) BUT... I'm guessing your GT suspension is stock...so, I would spend that money on your suspension and get the ride height where you want it before you swap out the wheels and tires.

Who runs Royal Purple Syncromax in their 3650?

My experience with Royal Purple is that I noticed that my tranny was running noticeably warmer. I could feel it in the cab around the center console area especially on long drives. I never had any mechanical problems but the increased heat can't be good for the tranny. Switched to Amsoil and...

    Help With Install

Really? JP man. :) The switches should be straight forward. Just swap them to the new panel. When reinstalling the panel place the bottom clip in first and then push the rest of it in until is snaps in. E-Z P-Z :nice:

    5 speed tranny fluid ????

You can fill the tranny by taking off the shifter which is what I do. The shifter can be a bitch to remove sometimes. Just make sure you use RTV or if you use a shifter gasket make sure its in good shape before you reinstall the shifter. I've tried the filler plug but it gets messy sometimes...

    5 speed tranny fluid ????

Fill it until it just starts to come out of the filler hole. **CORRECTION** Sorry, for some reason I thought you meant the differential. I believe it takes 3.5-3.8 quarts. Might be a good idea to pick up one of those Haynes Mustang Manuals or something similiar. All specs and fluid...

Relocating the Fuel Filter (IRS Swap)

I've done a little research on swapping the IRS and noticed that once the IRS is in the fuel filter is a PITA to replace. Is it really that much of a pain? Has any tried relocating the filter? I'd like to relocate the filter in a safe place. Anywhere away from moving parts and flying objects...

New Mods on the Bullitt w/ pics (IRS Content)

Thanks! Any issues with my SFC's that I already have installed when swapping to an IRS? Are SRA and IRS trades usually straight up considering both setups are mostly stock? I was gonna go for the full Maximum Motorsport rear susp. route but like you, I want a smooth corner carving mustang.

Hmmm...I am seriously considering this swap. Now I just need to find someone to trade with. Anything I should be concerned about when looking at IRS's?

Battery Drain - How to I trace?

I am assuming you know how to use a volt meter. So, if you do, check the voltage on every fuse to narrow it down. CHeck voltage on the fuses when everything in the car is off. If you get a reading on any of the fuses when you should not be then you have found the drain. If you have no readings...

Putting lowered Stang up on ramps?

I have a set of ramps that work just fine. It has the little extension at the base of the ramp so it doesnt slip while trying to go up. I dont have any clearance issues and mine is lower than yours. I guess it depends how steep your ramps are. I have to use ramps all the time. If I have to...
