    Exhaust shop ?

If you are talking about having a shop do a cat-back for you then yes you are better off just buying one. Most shops compression bend pipe and if you went with 2.5in pipe it would probably be smaller than 2.25in when they made the bend to go over the axle. I would buy a good cat-back and throw...

For a living I am a police officer and recently switched from a position with the department here in town to a officer with University Police with the local college campus since they pay more. For fun I am a vol firefighter and EMT.

    best high performance quieter muffler?

I have had about five different types of mufflers on my car to see what not only sounded the best but also performed the best as well. I settled on the dynomax ultra flo welded muffler. The muffler is somewhat loud outside my car but hardly noticeable inside the car. It has a great sound and...

Best tire size combo for traction?

I had 245/45's on my R wheels when I bought them and that is too small of a tire for a 9in wide wheel. I ended up replacing them with 255/45 up front and 275/40 out back and they worked out great. Now as far as traction goes it does great in turns but if I stand in it then all bets are off.

Another Question For You Guys with a 93 Throttle Body

Thanks! I was looking at the c&l pipe for the 93 and wondered if it worked. I think I am going with the one that is ceramic coated since i am getting a polished tb for this project and add a little shine to my motor.

    DynoMax Q's

Get the ultra flo welded mufflers. They are a welded case and straight through and sound great. I have run them for four years now and get complements all the time on the sound. And they do make their own kits. Mine is a 2.5in catback with stainless tips and it was the best fitting catback I...

need to vent about white trash

The manager was way wrong in what he told you. A parking lot such as that is considered a public vehicular area and we can do something about that. And chances are your insurance is not going to do anything without a report from the police. And from the sounds of it that woman should have not...

anyone running 87-93 longtubes on there 94-95 car?

I have BBK 1 5/8 headers on my car and they fit fine but like another post said they are a pain in the ass to install with the motor in the car. I did have a little of a rubbing issue with the clutch fork cover and the driver side header. But a quick pass over the cover with a grinder gave me...

Fire / Medical Truck I Designed

It's being used in the Canton, NC area. If you are from the Lincolinton area I got the lights from Metrolina Fire Apparatus down in Lincolinton and they installed the bed slide-out. We are using it as a quick response vehicle. We are a EMT-D level service but the county ambulance service...

Fire / Medical Truck I Designed

After seeing all the guys on here that are firefighters I thought I would share a pic of our new medical truck that I designed and see what y'all think. We looked at major apparatus companies and they all wanted close to 100K for one and that was mostly basic stuff. I built this one for just...

Got to fight my first Fire.

There is no greater rush than going through a door of a completely involved structure, opening the nozzle, everything going black, and then when you get all the way into the house all those super hot gasses near the ceiling ignite and it's on again. I came out of that one needing a new helmet...

Thinking about changing over to 93 throttle body?

After seeing all the cars on here that have gone to the older style of throttle body I am seriously considering going with the older style as well. I already have the instructions on the swap but was wondering where the best place to find the parts are? And for all those that have done it have...

Made Oil Seperator for less than $25.00

After reading about a steeda oil seperator I decided to build one for my car. A trip to the parts store and about 23.00 later I have one on my car and it works wonders. I highly recommend it to anyone with a boosted or higher compression motor! All you need is a air compressor oil...
