    2yrs ago private shops here in denver, nc were up to $85/hr and dealers were up to 150-175/hr, since the "recession" theres been a 20% drop in labor costs. tell me whats up with that:shrug:

    dude you seriously got RIPPED, i paid 6,800 for my 97gt 6yrs ago and at only 54,000 miles and in excellent condition. these dealers are way to proud for there cars. i bought my wifes 07 300 touring edition for $10,500, the dealer wanted 16,5, blue book was 18,9. so you got ripped so admit it:D

    for a mere $200+ youll have new gears, chain, tensioners, and guides. only an idiot wouldnt replace EVERYTHING since theyll b in there already, regardless of origianal engine or not also the mileage never the less

    free spinning there is drag, rule of thumb it should rotate 5-6 times with a good turn. kinda like the prize wheel of price is right, give one good pull, hehe. did u lube the contact areas of all the slides, also guide pins and anti rattle shims and clips?

    this is true, but my thoughts were that witht the stock pump fuel delivery at a higher rpm is limited because of the pressure drop and with the pump set at around 70-80% duty cycle the pressure is there but the volume isnt?(correct me if im wrong please) but now with the higher flow pump...
