    gettin a 2.3l turbo

The harness passes though the firewall on the passenger side. There is no bulkhead fitting, it's just the harness coming through a big grommit.

    My (our) plans...

I bought my house 4 years ago, and I don't regret it at all. Renting a 2 bedroom townhouse or condo would cost me more per month than I spend on the house. I'd rather spend that money on my own mortgage than on someone else's.

    My Valentine Gift

I'm not a huge fan of the rims on the car, but it looks to be in fantastic shape. Good cantidate for a turbo conversion. :)

    87' Mustang Speakers Help

Canadian Tire!:canada: I hate to say it, but you're not going to get fantastic bass out of stock sized speakers. If you have a coupe you can probably squeeze 6"x9" speakers in to the rear deck.

    Emergengy, P- brake, what's involved?

Personally, I found doing the cables on my 93 Coupe to be a bit of a PITA. The end of the cable that goes up to the console was very hard for me to get at with the driveshaft in place. This may be because of my big hands, but who knows? Now I guess this only applies to 1993 models as older ones...

So i have came across a svo

Man, it would take one *serious* bankroll to put that thing back together. Just at a quick glance walking by in a yard I would have been hard pressed to tell that it was a SVO. Except for the hood, most of the distingushing SVO parts look to be long gone. It's too bad.

    Shops in GTA?

Thanks for the replies, I will definaly stop in to see you guys eventually. I am looking specificly for KB chassis parts though. I had them on my Turbo Coupe and liked them so now I want them for my Mustang. I looked at round subframe connectors, but I really can't take the hit on ground...

    Shops in GTA?

Are there any good mustang friendly performance shops in the GTA? Specificly Mississauaga, Woodbridge, Brampton or Milton. I'm looking to buy some Kenny Brown parts and I'm hoping to get some better pricing than I can get localy. I'm in the GTA a couple times a week for business, so it's no big...

Dont buy a 4 point Kenny Brown G-load brace

I'm glad to know that it doesn't fit, it was on my list of parts to buy for my Notch project. Guess I'm going to have to re-think it.

    turbocoupe wheels

I found even the tires and rims made a huge difference in how the car felt, I didn't have the TC swaybars on yet the last time I drove mine. It will feel like a whole new car to you I'm sure.

    turbocoupe wheels

Right now I only have the stock 7.5" rear in the car but I will be putting in a 8.8" TC rear that is in the garage right now. If you want more pics than this one go to http://community.webshots.com/user/urbanredneck and check out most of the pics I took of my swap. I don't have a good pic of the...

    turbocoupe wheels

I'm running a set on my 90 Notch. I've got 215/55/16 tires on mine if I remember correctly, and they work nicely.

    TC rear in a mustang?

If you want to go 5-bolt with the TC rear you should be able to swap in axles from a SN95 Mustang 8.8" rear. I'm almost positive they're the same length.

    2.3 tranny

The T5s in Turbo Coupes are WC transmissions.

took some pics today, what do ya think?

Looks good! I have to second ditching the vent visors, those things are are for soccer mom suv's. *lol* Looking under the hood, I'd say you need an intercooler so you can crank up the boost a bit more :D

    2.3 tranny

You missed a couple. You could also get a C4 behind a 2.3L (a little more rare) and the SROD 4-speed overdrive.

    dual exhaust

Yes the 'y' is after the cat, you could probably use a TurboCoupe 'y' pipe if you don't want to have one fabricated. You will have to re-locate the rear brake line from the body to the axle though, it runs right where the right hand pipe will go.

whats the easiest way to geta crank pulley off

That only works on cars you have a battery in. If you're in most scrapyards you're outtta luck and back to doing it the hard way.

    Turbo oil feed line location?

There is actually a manifold that screws into the head where the oil pressure sender would normally go. The oil pressure sender screws into the top and the line screws into the bottom. If you're turboing a non turbo 2.3L you could probably cobble something together from a t-fitting and some...

whats the easiest way to geta crank pulley off

I usually put the socket on the bolt and then jam a flatblade screwdriver or a small prybar between the socket and the pulley in one of the two notches cut into the pulley. that way you can pull on the prybar in one direction and your ratchet in the other. Works like a charm. You can use a...
