Exhaust system that sounds like an old muscle car

back when 60's muscle cars weren't coddled trailer queens they cackled and sounded like tearing canvas...if you are after the 60's muscle car sound the one you said "people think that sounds good?" is EXACTLY what you are after

Exhaust system that sounds like an old muscle car

yes, people do...THAT is exactly what an old muscle car (or race car) would sounds like, especially a small block car...IMO the sound you are after is the 80's "Pro Street" sound, nothing wrong with that if that is what you like ;)

Electrical Has anyone installed a 2 din stereo in a '99-'04?

99-04 DON'T use the same head units. The 99-2000, have 2 single DIN spaces and the 2001-04 have a single Double DIN space... I haven't done the swap, but I understand you can use the console/center stack parts from a 01+ to make a double-DIN head unit fit in a 99/00. You have some fab work to...

Got new Fluidyne 3-row radiator, water temperature gauge still the same. Normal?

The short answer is no, puttng in a bigger radiator won't make the gauge read lower And IMO opinion in SoCal stop and go traffic a larger radiator will help even with a stock or mostly stock engine...

Mach Radio on its way out!

swapping a Mach head unit isn't any more complicated than swapping any other head unit...just get the kit from Crutchfield or whoever and sure, it may be "best" to pull the whole thing, but remember it is easy for the Interwebz Experts to suggest most expensive solution....'cause it's not...

Need Opinions Quick On 2001 Gt 'vert

with convertibles a lot of the cost depends on where (and when) you are looking in Florida, California or most of the southwest a good convertitble will be worth a lot more than in the northeast or midwest I know here in SoCal you can't get a running convertible anything, much less a Mustang...

the inner and outer pans are different; the alignments are not the same...if you have them in the wrong way they may very well be dragging If I am understanding which clips you are referring to they are just anti-rattle/anti-squeak parts

Classic Style Shifter Boot For 97 Cobra?

I think there are more now then when I started...at least now there is a handle for the SN95, when I did mine I had to modify a handle. If you want to do something like i did I recommend picking up an auto trans bezel and modify it, the 5-speed bezel assy. is stupid expensive... Anyway I...
