    5.25" round stock. I have heard that folks are able to fit a slim (read: not deep) 6.5" there. I would also stuff it with fiberfill. I think I have some sort of weak 5.25" Jensen somethingorothers. Stereo is on the list for a redo for this Spring for me.

    Hmmm... Hard to describe. You may want to drop by a body shop and have someone show you... You slide the pick end under and along the moulding until you come up on a reveal clip. You then pressure the handle so that it opens the clip, then pull up on the moulding to release it from the clip...

    If the hose is truly torn and there is no refrigerant, you shouldn't even have to disconnect the LPCS (Low Pressure Cycling Switch) on top of the accumulator. The LPCS will not allow the system to engage when the low side is below 25PSI (stock R12 setting).

    On what kind of 5.0 car? If it's a Fox Mustang, mine were just spring bands that I could open a bit and move. If your are clamps, go ahead and cut them off. Take them to an auto parts store and match them up to be replaced.

    No. There is an opening at the bottom of the door that you take the motor out of, but there is no speaker hole like the aero cars.

    You mean hose, not wire. Look at the diagram that jrichker posted. At top you will see the black hose with a "T" that is labeled "Engine Compartment Vacuum". It goes to the "Check Valve". This check valve resides on the passenger-side of the firewall.
