    I've heard that once you get past a certain point with automatic transmissions, changing the fluid will cause more harm than it'll help. That might just be redneck folklore though :shrug:

    If there's absolutely no exhaust, alot of extra air would go into the combustion chamber. Air burns hot as **** so valves start burning up. Plus the backpressure thing.

    That means someone will still probably have to replace them, I'd hate to think the new stang won't outlast 150,000 mi. I hate using mileage to measure age of a vehicle, especialy in situations like this. They should have an hours/mileage guage.

    Valvetronic is cool, those cars don't have a throttle! The infinitely varible valve lift/duration handles all intake metering. I thought the new mustang had some system where it actualy moved the whole cam (both of them) to vary the valve lift :shrug:
