    Like I said, donor was a 88 MarkVII. Including the damn AOD & it's shifter, which has a cable instead of a rod. My car was a 2.3 w/ 5spd. Honestly, I don't know which is worse... the 2.3 setup, or having the lovely 5.0 strapped to an AOD.:nonono:

    Gut the hell outta that thing, hit the JY and put together a T3/T4 hybrid. Rent a sawzall, route the exhaust up through the floor and weld in the turbo. Plumb in a 200 shot dry kit. Screw the intercooler. Put that $$$ towards a set of slicks. Using a turbo will keep you from grenading the 7.5...

    yeh, my cars together but i'm trying to get all the MAF goodies (donor car was a 88 MarkVII) and a rearend w/o blowing a load of $$$. But no luck!

    I'm in TX, cant even find 5.0 corpses in the local yards that haven't been picked clean. Just completed my cheapest swap, but still trying to find a few bits n pieces.

    A good starting point is the 89-91 Stangs. Mass air, and still has forged slugs from TRW. For sure, get a 5spd car. So much of the 5.0 potential is lost in the slushbox AOD. Mainly, try to find one as close to stock as possible. Performance parts are cheap compared to fixing someone elses...
