    It would probably sound like a V6 Camaro. They have one pipe, one muffler and some have dual pipes out. They sound OK with the right muffler which could be because they only have one cat too.

    Actually the cheapest way would be to replace the mufflre with a single in and dual out then have a muffler shop fab up another tail pipe out the rear. Then you are only buying a muffler and one short tail pipe and one hanger. You would probably not lose as much torque that way either since both...

    You need some play in the wheel. If it's too tight you'll be all over the road. If it's pulling you might just need an alignment and while they are there they can check the tie rod ends and other front end parts.

    I had just the opposite thing on my Ranger, it was rich bank one and bank two. That turned out to be the mass air flow sensor on mine anyway.

    One Flowmaster

    I put a flowmaster 40 on my Camaro (single exhaust) and it sounded great at an idle but ricey as hell above 3000 rpm, I hated it! I also ran a single glass pack on my ranger and it sounded much better. Deep mellow tone, still not like a V8 but much better than the flowmaster.

    We don't have any inspections up in northern Ca. either and it is scary some times. There are some real junkers around here that should have been crushed 10 years ago.

    It turns out the noise is toward the passenger side but outside the car. From inside you can't tell where it's coming from.

    You're right! That's exactly where the noise is. I went through a car wash and as the blower hit the wiper cowl it started chirping. The best news is it's covered under warranty so I don't have to try to figure out how to fix it (lol). Thanks, I owe you one. :hail2:

    Right now I'm running a single Magnaflow and it sounds good, just not very loud but it's not ricey either. I think it'll sound good till he gets the rpm's up then the flows get raspy.

    You're not going to get it to sound like that, it is a V6 not a V8. I would not get flowmasters, to me they sound too ricey in the higher rpm range (I had one and didn't like it). Maybe a dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers. They have a deep mellow tone. I have a single that sounds nice but...
