    increase HP in a I6 200ci

The fordsix guys are now assembling an awesome turbo/EFI example with the new head design. They aren't saying, but I'll be disappointed if it doesn't make at leat 400hp. Hell, Will & Kelly's old 250 makes over 300hp with an iron log head and a 2bbl.

    what changed ??!!!??

The PCV is kind of a controlled vacuum leak. It's designed to suck fumes from the crankcase. If the hose is "hosed up" you could get an uncontrolled vacuum leak that will cause the car to run poorly. Also, some valve covers have no baffle and can allow the PCV to suck in oil (poor running...

    Mustang Plus Ronster Kit Conversion

Only if you don't mind ending up with a show queen. Keep in mind, you don't end up with a convertible. It's topless - literally. No top, no side windows = no good for daily driving. It would be hard to live with in Florida with daily rain and hot summer sun.

    Floorpan replacement. ...*pics added*

Looks like the tunnel is ok and just front and/or full pans might do it. That'll make the job a lot simpler. Typical coastal rust up higher, though. Luckily, the colw on a 70 is easy to get to, so if you have a leak there, it should be a simpler fix. I think you're definitely gonna...

spiders and bugs and webs OH MY......

Hosing the spiders down won't help. Neither will sweeping away the webs. those little buggers are industrious and all the webs will be back in a day or two. Pesticide is your best friend.....:D

spiders and bugs and webs OH MY......

Must be a Florida thing! Same happened on my coupe this summer. Black widow Spiders and wasps set up housekeeping in the fenderwells, in the bumpers, and under the car. :jaw: I threw on the car cover, rolled down the windows, and Raid-bombed the car from underneath. That seemed to kill...

    Floorpan replacement. ...*pics added*

My .02 is that if you are unfamiliar enough with bodywork that you cannot figure out how to remove glass, then you should not be attempting a full floor without a LOT of expert (mustang knowleageable) help. Removing the full floor removes a great deal of the Mustang's structure. Do it wrong...

    Painless Wiring

I just finished installing a universal 12 circuit EZ Wire kit in my hot rod. I'm seriously thinking of putting the same one in the coupe. The fuse box is compact, all the wires are well marked and colored, and it worked really well in the rod. I used a Mustang column and ignition...

    Sunroof/moonroof on a 65 coupe

The only one I've ever seen that looked decent was a very costly transplant from an XR7 Cougar. Hacking a hole in your roof to install somethhing that looks like it came from a 70's van is a sure way to drastically reduce the value of your car. Don't do it.

Insane 66 'vert project...a LONG history and current info

Form follows function, I guess, but you're right. It's ugly. But the subframe and roll cage look good and I really like the stance. I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome. It should definitely be a head-turner. I only hope you end up with a driver and not a "pro-show" trailer...

    Benefit of shelby drop?

Lowering the pivot point of the upper control arm only has a small effect on the ride height of the car. But by moving the pivot donw an inch, you change the roll center of the vehicle and make it more responsive to turn in. It changes the camber curve of the suspension, making it roll less...

Does anyone have a 19:1 Steering box?

19:1 is the manual steering ratio. 16:1 is the PS and manual GT ratio.

Does anyone have a 19:1 Steering box?

The 16:1 box is faster but has higher effort.

    T5 conversion advice, please

On my conversion I used the 66 transmission mount. At first I got a mount for a late mustang (to match the transmission0 and it was too tall. The early mount is shorter.

T-5, i'm about to give up....

Unfortunately, I think it will be very hard to do a T5 swap for $200. Even if you got the transmission for free, the rest of the swap would cost more than that. :(

Crate '69 Camaro soon Crate '67 Mustang FB?!

British Motor Heritage has been doing this for many years with MGB's, Triumph TR-6's, MG Midgets, and Mini's using the original tooling to produce complete shells. It's a very cost effective way to restore a car and the new shells are better than the originals in many ways (like rustproofing)...

T-5, i'm about to give up....

What do you consider "cheap"? I've located several 4-cyl transmissions in the $250 - $300 range in Georgia, Miss, Alabama on Car-part.com. There were a couple on Ebay for <$200 a week ago.

    100gph enough to support 500hp?

Another way to figure it..... A typical naturally aspirated engine has a Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) of between .4 and .6 lbs/hp/hr, so a 500 hp engine would consume between 200 and 300lbs per hour at max power. A blown engine would have a BSFC of .65 to .68, with a requirement...
