Randystinchcomb - Identify Ford part #? ARP head bolts needed or overkill?

not really, they are just "stock oem Ford" head bolts....some may think just because they are "Ford Racing" that there better/stronger and there not....it's just a factory bolt put in a "factory" install kit and sold by Frpp but it's all oem Ford parts, nothing special about it

never a problem:nice: and just an FYI........ just because those bolts came from "Ford Racing" doesn't meen squat:nonono: they ARE just Regular-Old- Common-Everyday-Oem Ford Romeo head bolts:rolleyes: nothing special about them...... P.S. just make sure you cycle the ARP studs 4 or 5...

Randystinchcomb - Identify Ford part #? ARP head bolts needed or overkill?

thats just a stamping #...the actual part # for Romeo head bolts is 5R3Z-6065-AA. now, wth the amount of boost your making, I'd go wth ARP head stud kit....... Im not even sure ARP makes head bolts for modulars  ..............and even if they did, I'd still go wth studs as studs provide a...

    Anyone put a 4v 4.6 in a foxbody?

actually the first person(s) to-do the Modular inna' Fox was FoMoCo...back in 1993 they built 2 Fox body Mustangs wth DOHC engines...one, a Reef blue Mustang was campaigned by John Mahovich (of Accufab fame) for many years...not sure where that car is today:shrug: and the other one was white...

2000 Mustang GT - 45k Miles - Repeated Stalling Problem

..........and change your PCV valve, get one from a Ford dealer and NOT the aftermarket....the leading cause's of IAC issues are from people not changing the PCV at the recommended 30k intervals or from using and aftermarket PCV which draws to much vapor and cloggs up the IAC, intake and plenum

    Shredding Belts........

there are srveral makers of pullies and "yes" some are better than the others...so if your in doubt, just get a new oem Ford idler, there only @$14.00....now the P/S pulley is a seperate part but a "bastard" to change as it has tobe pressed off and on, which would require some speciacl tools...

    PO1443 - Evap Problem

at any Ford dealer, we have them in stock if you need one and it just plugs in line wth the cainster purge solenoid......which I hope you bought a oem Ford one and NOT some aftermarket crap:eek:

    Shredding Belts........

if the belt marks on the pulley are off to one side, it's a good bet the tensioner arm is either bent or the bearings in the pulleys are shot....if it were me, I'd just go get the steel tensioner and be done wth it......

    PO1443 - Evap Problem

Nate, it's not just a matter of replacing the canister purge solenoid....there are 2 parts to the sysyem, 1 being the cainster purge solenoid and the other is call the "thermistor probe", which is usally the part that goes bad....the part # is F57Z-14A606-BA and sells for @$20.00

    Shredding Belts........

nothing special in removing it, just 3 bolts....now you can take a straightedge and lay it along the length of the arm and sea if it's bent
