    Disc Brake Conversion ?

They can work with manual brakes, but they're really intended to be used with power brakes. Dude, not to rain on your party, but for 100 bucks more you could've had power brakes and 13 inch rotors. On the other hand, it's your car. :nice:

    Disc Brake Conversion ?

All you have to do is have the rotor pressed. You can do it by tightening the lug nuts. It won't break, or take it to a machine shop.

    roll bar

A while back I saw a guy´s mustang site and he had pics of his 4 point roll bar installation in his 66 coupe. The roll bar was just like the one in the pic. He welded the roll bar to the floor pans, but cool thing was when he installed the rear tubes that weld to the wheel wells (red striped...

    Disc Brake Conversion ?

Try Mustang Steve´s disc conversion. He uses cobra 13 inch discs, and cobra calipers. You get to use your spindles and hubs (so no alignment needed), for $750. If you already have power brakes then you´re all set, but if your car does not have power brakes, he also sells a bolt in kit with...

Shelby did not built notchbacks. The notchbacks Shelby souped up for racing were regular mustangs.

    Help identifying '68-specific pedal assemblies.

Here´s this out of my 68 FB, 4 speed, non-power brakes. Modified for clutch cable and bearings, but everything else untouched. http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/1581/dsc052364il.jpg http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/9500/dsc052379ms.jpg...

dangers of not using a pilot bearing

Try wet newspaper instead of the grease, same result minus the mess. Pack the hole with the wet paper and hit the punch until it won´t go any deeper, take the punch out and pack more paper into the hole, repeat as needed until the sucker slides out.

    should i buy or not

Don´t buy it, especially if you already have a 1990 GT, you will be very dissappointed with the 6 cyl. engine. Keep on looking you might find a better deal. My cousin´s neighbor sold his rust free 66 gt for $3000 when he lost his job.

    i need help

Age and driving record determine how much you pay. If you´re under 25, single, no kids, you´re a "high risk driver". The difference in premium for not having airbags, antilock brakes, etc, will only be minimal.

    Fuel line question

Dirty or clogged fuel lines do not cause overheating or pingig. Check the timing, flush the radiator, change the thermostat, and use antifreeze. Also make sure the water pump is working as it should too. Once a water pump went bad on me because the propeller had completely rusted to dust but the...
