    Hey just replace it yourself then take it to ford before the 16th. The info that I have read says you don't have to have a reciept, and it doesn't have to be from Ford. Sure you have to shell out the money to replace it, but in the end Ford should cover it for you. Maybe this is a bit shaddy...

    Does the failed part have to be the crossover tube? On mine the tube on the rear passengers side (I think it is the Heater return) completely snaped off while I was driving down the road. Any ideas?

    This is important, You have less than 3 weeks

    If you have a 4.6L and have had the crossover tube on the intake manifold break, Ford will replace it in some cases. Check this site to see if you are one of the luck guys.:bang: Mine busted on me tonight on the way home! Also if you have repaired this yourself, you know it isn't cheap...

    Traction control not working

    I have no loss of power when spinning the wheels my freind has a 04 and you can feel the difference when his traction control kicks in, mine will smoke the tires and not cut power.

    Thanks but maybe I should have also noted that the car will spin the tires wether or not the Traction control button has been pushed. The light that says "off" works but the tires spin either way. However the antilock brakes work fine I am not trying to turn them off!
