    That is the same problem i had with mine but i deleted the pcv system all together, And went to a dual breather setup with a crossover tube into a catch can....less than ideal setup considering having a pcv system is a good idea just for the better ring seal, but it works great and the engine...

    this is a very common problem with 5.0 mustangs it is most often caused by 1- blowbye, 2- Inoperative PCV valve and or clogged screen, 3- lack of a baffle on either the valve cover or on the pcv side of things..... some oil getting in the intake is normal, when the oil gets hot it gives off...

    modification to the tray, i had to cut two small 1in square sections out to fit a stock pickup tube, and a little hammering to get it to clear the rod studs in a couple of places....not hard at all...took 30min tops.

    Buy an adustable length pushrod to check and see the size you need. They sell them through summit for about 11 bucks... i use the crane cams one that goes from about 6.1 in to 6.45.... or something close to that.....The length i had to use on mine were 6.125....that is a bit smaller than stock...

    yes.... i recomend getting an adustable length pushrod to check exactly the length you need. They are less than $15 bucks, and cheap insurance...if your pushrod length is off by just .20 it will lead to premuture valve guide wear and oil consumption problems.....no two engines are the same...use...

    I am with the last guy buy a length checking pushrod.... i messed up my last set of heads by going with the length the manufacturer recomended.... it's cheap insurance, 11.00 for a length checker or 500.00 for 16 valves and machine work.

    i'm not sure what the ratio is for stockers ( not sure if they have one ) but i can tell you the 50/50 lakewoods helped a little with traction, not enough but they ride much better than the beat to hell stock ones.

    the fuel rails should be fine but the injectors are way too small...start looking into bigger ones, and like the last guy implied you might want to think about another block ( or you could be one of the lucky ones i always read about the spay a 250 shot for years and never have a problem )...

    i double checked the plug wires and they are set to the H.O. firing order, i'll double check to make sure its not off a tooth though... I set the timing at 16deg. if it's off a tooth will it still show 16deg on the timing gun?
