    Revving issues

I don't have any stock components left. So step 1 would be very hard. The ignition box is a week old. The old box finally let the smoke out 7 years after it was installed. As for the fireproof fuel pressure check, I was thinking about running a fuel line out my cowl and putting a gauge on...

    Revving issues

I doubt it is that. I have new Vic Jr heads with a nice comp cam. Cams good till 6500 and head springs good to 7500rpm. The rockers are pro magnum rollerized. I doubt it was valve float at 5200rpm.

    Revving issues

Maybe. The problem seems to have just gone away. I took the car out on the weekend and drove it hard. Had no problem pulling to 6500rpm. I don't know I guess it was gremlins.

    SVO axles

I have the oppertunity to get my hands on a 84 SVO. I have a 86 Mustang currently. I was wondering if the 7.5 5 bolt axles from the SVO would fit in my 8.8 rear end? I was thinking of swapping the disc brakes and 5 lugs from the SVO to my 86 GT. Does anyone know?

    351w potential blown headgasket...?

sounds odd. What temp gauge do you have? Maybe a bit of air in the coolant system caused the spike. I would change the oil burp the cooling system and monitor the oil.

    line lock question.

Thats a nice looking engine bay. You have a big hole in the center of the engine there.... Is that where you plum in the 45 gallon drum of gasoline? lol. Looks good. Bet that will be one scary ride at the track. I wish I had gone with a 460 when I did my swap. I guess the 351w will just...

    Carb size

usally even when over carb'd you do not hurt the engines performance at WOT. You can effect drivability day in day out. A 750 dp works quite nicely on my 351w.

    oil pump replacement..question.

I wouldn't crank with the coil wire off because if nothing has oil in it I guess you are really rotating metal on metal. If you spin the pump with the oil pump shaft it primes the pump and sends oil everywhere.

    line lock question.

I have a Hurst Roll Control. I love it. My rear tires do not like it. I have 275/55/ r15 on my car mounted on weld draglites that are 15x8 with a 5.5 inch back space. Didn't have to roll my fender lips either.

I just swapped out my wiend stealth for a vic jr. What a difference. I picked up close to 2 tenths in the 1/8 mile. I also picked up mph which was very nice. I was also racing into a head wind. I know we have talk calgary351gt but congrats again BTW.

what wrench and socket sizes for headgasket job?

I believe for the intake you need 1/2 wrench/sockets. You also need a torx bit. I forget what size. You will need flat bladed screw drivers and scrapers. I think the dizzy is held down with a 12mm wrench. Head bolts I think are 9/16 heads maybe 5/8. As far as torque goes intake is 18 ft...
