    Fuel pressure gauge ?

    I just have one on my regulator. But all it would be is to run a line off it and mout the gauge where you want it. Not that hard at all.

    Heads

    lol. If you want to launch at high rpm's get a high stall torque converer. Just replace the driveshaft and see how it runs.

    Yes looks like tire is hitting it. I would be looking at a different off set rim. Get those tires tucked in a bit. How wide are the tires and what offset rims? The other option is to airbag the passenger side spring. That will stop the passenger side from squatting so much.

    When I did mine I installed the heads with no gaskets. Spun oil pump with a drill and cranked engine over by hand. Then pulled off heads and measured the plastercine. I was fine but I do not have factory pistons. I have dished pistons.

    i would suspect intake gasket or even the o-ring that seals your distributer in.

    As far as actual pressure thats different on cars and depending what pump you have. Mine is 40 psi at idle when its hot. 57psi at operating temp when driving. I believe I'm close to 70psi cold.

    Two Problems

    Sounds like a flow issue. I would be suspect of your water pump or the new Thermostat you just installed. Have you flushed the system?

    Oil Pressure question

    You should be able to fix the leaks with a bit of time and elbow grease. They make good flanges. I believe you can even buy ball and socket flanges from flowmaster that you can weld in. They Seal and tend not to leak. I really like that system ford came up with.

    bypassing safety's never wise. But I don't have one either. Mind you I don't know how you would install one on a carb's system.
