    4" lift off extended cowl hood!

    nice looking car. Oh the only thing with a extended cowl (if I'm thinking of the one you want) is if there is not enough room for the windshield wipers to move then that would be a cause to get the car DOT'd. Thats all I can think of why it might not be street legal.

    I really doubt there would be much of a difference between 3.55's and 3.73's. Maybe a bit. But might not be worth the money time or effort to see if it does help.

    First thing I would check is to see if your engine is sitting as low as it can in the K-member. I have istalled new motor mounts before and really had to wrestle with the engine to get it to slide right down to the bottom of the k-member. You know the little slats that the motor mounts bolt...

    I had a crack in my floor pan. I just welded it up and subframed the car. Stiffened it up and have never seen anymore issues.

    I don't know if they are or aren't. You have to know that running a hood like that is going to egg people on. And they are going to expect a bunch of jam from your car. I have my 351w under a 2.5 inch lift off cowl.

    Alternate trac-lok disk stacking & leaving out S-spring when rebuilding questions...

    didn't realize the spring in the truck was more heavy duty. Might be something I will look at. The factory mustang one is a pain to get in I can't imagine one with more spring tension. I MIGHT FIGHT THAT A WHILE TO GET IT IN.

    Personally I would want something that could displell heat rather then will just warp if things get a little 2 toasty.

    I go through in 4th and I have 3.73's. My rpm is around 5600RPM at 116MPH. I would say you could go 4.10 if you wanted to. I really like 3.73's and a 5 spd.

    Nitrous!! That being said I only launched at about 3000RPM but the giggle gas gets you to redline quick.

    Interior Changes '86 Notch

    How much moddifying did you have to do to get that dash in? Is it fairly bolt it or is there moddifying and cutting to do. Did you find a website with steps to do it?

    maybe someone put the hanger bracket under the tranny and above the tranny mount on backwards?
