Going to T&J Performance soon (upgrades)

I think you'll be very happy with the work Tim, Andy, and Jeff, do. They have the setup you are getting perfected. I know of at least 10 guys with your new setup and none have had any issues. I've had 30 passes at the track, some in 90 degree weather, and no issues(except my belt breaking) :)

You know that Tim has that deal going on with the vortech T-trim right now... :)

    4.6 Internals

I think you'll get 430, easy. I was talking to Tim about the torque numbers on all the novi 2000's and he told me that it's due to the size of the charger. It really wants air. I bet your torque will jump up close to 40 ft-lbs when you step up the boost to 11lbs. Heck, your not even 1/2 way...

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

I don't think Kenne Bell can tune for every setup, though. No company can. It's just not financially viable to go out and buy every part just to test on a dyno. That's why we have tuners. On the issue with Red Dragon, I agree with you 100%. He needs to work his problem out with KB before...

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

Not yet, Micool. I think there was a slight hiccup but they had resolved it yesterday and I bet the engine will be in the car by this weekend. Jeff wants to do the KB install himself since he has a chrome one on the way. By the way I was thumbing through the install guide and it looked pretty...

Pics of the 4.6L 3 valve....

Hmmm.... Maybe when I do my rebuild in a year or 2 I might have a 3 valve. :)

03 Cobra IRS swap and weak points

... But if you do go over 400hp, you might have wheel hop issues. But that can be helped by getting adjustable shocks and stickier tires.

Pics of the 4.6L 3 valve....

Couldn't you turn the blower so it aims the opposite direction and have the discharge tube run directly into the throttle body. By looking at the pic, it looks like the run from the blower to the throttle body would be 4 to 5 inches at the most. Speaking of the tb location, I wonder where the...

Ok you supercharger gurus... Strim, SQ, Ytrim, or Ttrim... Which is the hot ticket?

After taking the supercharger off and on to change the belt, I've come to the realization that I probably could have done it myself but I'm still glad I had Tim do it. DC-GT, Are you going to have Tim cut all the tubing for your intercooler or are you going to do that yourself? You can do...

    4.6 Internals

You could be on the edge with 12 lbs but who knows for sure. I believe Tim(Cobra Killer) had his car around 450hp for nearly a year on the stock bottom end before he went crazy(and turned it into a drag racer). :) I'm seeing close to 10 in this cold weather but I'm typically at 9 in the...

Pics of the 4.6L 3 valve....

Saw this on blue oval and thought it was interesting. The only reason I'm posting this in tech is I would like to know what everyone thinks about the new location of the throttle body. I like the fact they now have removed the plastic covers. I also like the intake.... Here't the link...

Ok you supercharger gurus... Strim, SQ, Ytrim, or Ttrim... Which is the hot ticket?

Did you decide already? I believe Cobra Killer has a deal on the T-trim right now for the price of an S-Trim if you purchase the complete kit from him. Give him a call... http://www.modularfordpowerhouse.com

Interesting notes in how newer cars take time to adjust to new mods- dyno results

I want to make it clear.... Cobra Killer is not the dyno operator. He does want my car to make good numbers. :) The dyno operator is http://www.dynolab.net for reference.

Interesting notes in how newer cars take time to adjust to new mods- dyno results

I trust my dyno operator. He's one of the most reliable guys in town but he could care less what my car made. His business is dynoing cars, not inflating egos.... He was surprised, though.... :) The dynos were done about 5-10 minutes apart and I really believe it just took the computer a...

Interesting notes in how newer cars take time to adjust to new mods- dyno results

I love my Magnaflows and recommend them to everyone I talk to. As for dyno changes, on my last trip to the dyno, my first pull was 385hp and three pulls later(with no tuning) I pulled a 413hp so the numbers can dramatically change between pulls, DHGBullit. GNN60GT500, keep producing these high...

    Bad Autometer Fuel gauge!

    What exactly is it doing?

    Bad Autometer Fuel gauge!

Exactly.... The cooler air resolved the issue of vapor lock(at least from the computers determination). All I can say is I had the spike before the intercooler and didn't have it after it. I was just trying to explain to Red Dragon why he may have had the spike in his gauge. What did...
