mob, with a turbo anyone telling you those are bottle necking wont have a turbo v8.....turbo v8 owns.period. and utilizing parts and making htings work makes it way more respectful IMO doesnt look like you went and bought a $$$kit.....if you make those work with your turbo, you honestly think...
mob, i would worry about rms..... and i also have never seen only one input for a amp.....and like i said im not going to hate on your stuff, but visonik is :notnice: that amp looks like a guitar amp or something, did you tyr your bros amp.....?
that amp is not 300w rms capable,.. RMS watts is what matters.....kind if like crank vs wheel horsepower...try another amp bridged and yes turn the gain down,,,,just see if you get something to the sub,,,,then mess with the gain.....
i doubt that 70w is RMS you might be lucky to be getting 50 watts to the amp which is def not good....im guessing a mtx 12' would require at least 75-100rms and 250 max.....but i would think that some watts would still move the sub....im betting the amp is in protection mod.....switch out the...
idk about straight to the sub, ive never done that...might burn something up???
yeah try your bros amp, since all the wires are there and you have any/another amp to test it could opnly take 5 mins.....
my bet is its the amp.......under powering a sub is just as bad as overpowering...but dont...
does the sub have a safety mode, usaully a red light? i would put money on something to do with the amp and sub not matching up....what is the rms for the amp............i am not one to judge about brands cause to me an amp is an amp....but i personally will not buy sony or visonik amps ever...
yes exactly it, i like paying 10.00 for something that cost about half a penny to make......sorry there is no way to spend 10.00 on that piece.....
as far as a vacuum block? i did not know harbor freight sold them, i was just at that store and walked around for an hour just to see anything i...
those help parts are great, can i get them local or do i have to order.... 10.00 kind of defeats the point.... and those metal/billet vacuum trees are great but 60-90.00 bucks for that?? no way.....when the stock works just fine and saves weight:rolleyes:
dude idk why but this made me spit up my drink,,, i just pictured myself sitting down at the track eating a hot dog, looking up and see that thing run an 11 and saying exactly "what the F just happened":rlaugh:....

ok well my car def has the egr connecting to the fpr.....and the tube that does it is aperfect length, i must have messed something up with my gt40 install, because i guess the egr and fpr are suppose to have vacuums going to the intake? i can just run it to the tree on the firewall correct...
i know that, im just really trying ot figure out if more vacuum is better for the regulator, i also just want to see if runnig with no vacuum( should give me more psi right) which could then see if it runs better, which would then give me more reason to buy an adjustable....thats my...
