    If money is a thing and you want OEM do the 87-89 wheel, it always looked too old and out of place in the areo interior IMO. Personally I would have to get a Grant/eBay three spoke wheel for comfort; and those style of wheels look best in older interiors anyway.

    I like to do all of the above to make sure there's no air left in the system. Sometimes I wonder if it would be a good idea to tap in a bleeder screw on top of the EGR cooler; since its the highest point in the cooling system?

    +1 aircraft The aircraft stripper works better if you get the clearcoat off first with some acetone, carb cleaner or some other potent solvent.

    I dont have one myself but from what I read, the BBK TB has an edged corner in or around the IAC area and the turbulent air cuts against the edge and makes the famous whistle. I have a pic of a stocker, take your IAC off and see whats different and dremel it. :shrug:

    FWIW I used a tranny cooler from a limo that I found in the junkyard to upgrade the stock "power steering cooler". Any small 3/8" tube trans cooler will do.

    Is the Edelbrock/BBK TB made in China now? People never seem to have problems with those, except for the whistle which is an easy fix.

    I unscrewed the hardline on my rack, it's just like a brake line from what I remember, no O-rings or washers. ...But that was on a '00 GT rack, which physically looks the same except for the steering shaft connection.

    Nice build, it looks like you know what you're doing. :nice: I wouldn't even bother getting a MSD distributor, the stocker is the best one around you can save your $$$ for something else. If you got those motor mounts new at the parts store, take them back and get a set of convertible...

    My Buddy bought the blue oval set on eBay for his 2000 GT, I saw them firsthand and they seemed to be sturdy and were decent quality; they even had greasable bushings. Personally I want to go with MM lowers and FRPP replacement uppers.

    :scratch: Are you sure that the wheels arent turned in those pics you see? Well I've seen 80's GM's and a Ford Aspire body sitting on Mazda truck frame with upside down steering wheels. :shrug:

    Heat extractor or a 1.5 cowl. Anything more than a 1.5 cowl is too much for me... unless you need the clearance. IMO the Cobra R hood looks good on the Saleen and Stalker kits because those bumpers have enough curves to complement the hood.

    I say get water, oil pressure, and vacuum. With the vacuum you can mind gas mileage, know about vacuum leaks when they come, and it can tell you a whole lot of other stuff about your engine if you know how to read it.
