    4.6 Performance

Had 3.73 in my 04 GT. Got 4.30 in my mach. I can only imagine how quickly a gt would run out of rpm with 4.30s.

    1999 Gt Few Small Problems

Time for a new transponder ring and ignition cylinder? Stuff gets old.

Lmr.com is pretty good about getting things right. They should do right by you. I get the impatience though. Few years back, went to a real nasty place in my mind while waiting for some upr upper sprung perches. Garrr! Messed me around twice....angry.

Setbacks are part of any large scale build. It's good your catching them and remedying as much as you can while it's apart. You're going to like the end result. Still a long road but keep the faith. Speed gods are smiling.

    Random 2003 Mach 1 Question

I kinda get the gist of what your describing. It must've been a custom job. I've can't recall anything like that being marketed at my usual mod shopping sites.

Cat Delete And The State Of Texas

I'm not from Texas but I'm curious. How does the state with in on longtubes with catted mids? It is not the factory cat setup but it is nonetheless a converter system. Especially in cars with some age that may have need the original converters replaced due to efficiency or damage.

Tough pill to swallow. Man that's frustrating. Saw that you posted and was in a hurry to see some dyno numbers. Instead, bad news. How bad are coyote swaps in our cars? I've never really followed any threads about them. Wouldn't blame you if you did either. 2 valves are cheaper to work with...

New Here, Have A Few Questions

If you don't like drone, if stay away from flowmasters. Those things are on all the time. You love it at first, then it gets old and you find yourself trying to find an rpm to stay in that's quieter. Only to find there isn't one. Dronemasters.

    Magnaflow Or Borla?

Long tubes and x pipes seem to have the same effect on sounds regardless of what cat back you got. X pipes make cars scream raspy more than grunt. Low end roar is accentuated by h pipes. Long tubes make exhaust lower in tone and higher in volume. Cat mid pipes muffle the sound slightly and...

    Running Rough

If the front oxygen sensors are bad, that could produce these kind of problems. Looks like your egr vacuum line isn't connected in the picture. That red plastic hose goes to several locations throughout the emissions system. Not sure specifically which components it connects buy of you got a...

This weather is pretty awful. Freezing, melting, then re freezing. I'm sure your tuner will get the car straight for you. Waiting sucks but better than having to take the car back and forth again. Keep the updates coming.

    2003 Mach1 Exaust Manifold Rust

Headers on these cars is not an easy endeavor. It's not overly complicated but to do it without pulling out your hair, it is very involved. I removed all suspension and dropped the front k member. Kept the the engine up with a harbor freight engine support. Had to replace the ball joints...

    New Mach 1 Purchase

Congrats on the new car. The intake gives are hard to come by. You're right about most people using JLT. I'm still stock so I can't tell you if they're really going to improve power. If I was in your position I would probably get the JLT. There is a way to mechanically adjust the stock clutch...

Tires, suspension, and brakes are terrible on all truly stock original era muscle cars. That's probably why you hear about power figures being underrated but ETs being in the 14s. I'm always disappointed to read an article that talks about a particular muscle car, gives a big raving review about...

    Mach 1 Hood And Shaker

The hood is. You would have to finesse r engineer the shaker into place in top of the engine. It's been done plenty of times so it can't be all that difficult. They make aftermarket setups for the GT. Maybe reference how they attach for guidance.

I would be curious to see an 04 mach go toe to toe with a 69 mach super cobra jet. Think that might be a real good match. Technology with less power versus the less complicated old style raw muscle.

    Random 2003 Mach 1 Question

Wish you got a pic. But if it's on a s197 there's really no guarantee they make a similar product for the sn95. Best you can do is check Americanmuscle.com, lmr.com or Mr body kit.

    Mach 1 Hood And Shaker

They're seeking the shakers by themselves on ebay for around 300. The hoods are harder to come by. It's really up to you but I might go as high as 900 for both. Depending on condition and my own personal need for it.

    Headers

My headers do not have a brand stamped on them. Leads me to believe you probably have macs as well.

    Headers

Those soar to look much like my Mac headers. Only with the GT flanges. That's what they probably are. You will need a long tube mid pipe. I say go for it. You'll like the power and sound. Doesn't matter the brand a long as they seal. A bent pipe of a particular diameter will flow the same as...
