    My 86 did this same thing and I checked all the stuff these guys are saying and come to find out the fuel pump module inside the ECM/computer fried. So it only worked after everything had cooled down for a long freaking time.

    We built one at wotk with white cobra r's and put a cobra body kit on it. Dude this thing looked sick as :poo:! Plus it had nice bear brakes 6for piston calipers. Imo do the white on white. You will like the compliments you will get.

    That will get you started in the right direction at least. Just take your time and do your homework on what you want and the best combo for it. Then you will have a nice solid reliable build and car.

    You wont make thhat with 6 lbs of boost. Put some good aluminium heads on your 306 put a 10-12 lbs pulley on your blower and use an Anderson power pipe and a good tune then you will be close to 400 hp.

    Lol i used the dyno at UTI! It made 252 horsepower is and 309 torque. Untuned too, plus running a little lean. I normally use the dyno at my work. Those are good numbers for my base line to start with for my engine build. Once build is done with supporting mods im shooting for 475ish.

    Yeah they are alright. Im running mine on a dyno tomorrow just for :poo:s and grins. To see my numbers. Then tweek some things for the tune that i will do soon. I will let everyone know the numbers, and this will be on my otherwise stock 86 GT converted to mass air.

    The gt and lx fender wells are the same size. The gt just has the fender extensions thats all.

    Im running 17x10.5 with a 275/40/17 tire on my 86 with fox length axles (5 lug). I just roled my lip and remove quad shock when i did the rest of my suspension. No problems at all.

    Yeah should have. I set the timing on it last night. He came and drove it up on his trailer and left. He said my check engine light is on it wasnt before, i said thats cuz you had me get rid of your emissions stuff. I hope i dont ever see this car again! Lesson definitely learnex for the future...
