    Need Help

Well, Ignition and Fuel. When something like this happens you need to go down the check list and insure each item is within the maintenance interval. Its always a good idea to put a $7.00 can of Seafoam into the gas tank to assist in diagnosis. Is your fuel filter fairly new? Are your spark...

    Odd clutch pedal feel

Just a FYI: Frequent self adjustment to the clutch can be made by grabbing it with your hands or put your foot under it and pull upwards till it stops. Depress it. Repeat. This is how ford recommends adjustment to clutch cable.

    98 V6 question.

The BBK Throttle Body is for matching up ported upper and lower intakes. Not needd for stock or naturally aspirated motors. Your goal and money spent should be on a CAI, a VAP intake spacer, and a catback or true dual exhaust. All three working together pulling air in and then exhausting it...

    what exhaust system

Above mentioned sounds sweet. I have thought about the same and posted the consideration before. I (of course) have the best sounding exhaust, unique to my car. I have all of the bolt-ons, dyno tuned, with 3.73 gears which all manipulate the tone of the exhaust. All 4 cats, divorce duals...

    16 inch rims?

Save a little more money and only consider at the very least 17" rims. American Muscle gives a great explanation to what rim sizes to use along with which tires. Look at the "staggered" layouts. Good Luck & do the right thing. You'll be happiest in the end.

    Need suggestions

Fuel+Spark New fuel filter and then Seafoam the upper intake. Seafoam in the gas tank too. Check your plugs and see if they tell you if anything excessive is going on in combustion chamber. Install Motorcraft Copper Core or Platinum spark plugs next time (now) to eliminate any doubts. Stick...

projector headlights in a 1997 mustang

I had projectors on my '97 and installed the Osram Night Breakers to get proper vision and not go HID. I also got matching 5000k LED Switchback turnsignal bulbs to match. Looked great. They now have a brighter CCFL, so make sure you get the most current version. Check out the LED Switchbacks too.

    98 V6 motor help!!!!

If your still interested, I did a tune up at 200k miles and the following changed the overall performance incredibly: Replace the fuel filter. I had no idea it was robbing performance so much. Do the Seafoam treatment. Soak the upper intake plenum, use it through the pcv intake, and put it in...

    Exhaust help!!!!

I still have stock headers + cats. I first had a Flowmaster 40 catback and it did a great job with sound and performance. I actually had the catback on when I did the SCT dyno runs. I now have divorce duals with Flowmaster 10's on it. I have a video of both on YouTube under "robb15033" I...

    Spark plug suggestions

I did try the E3 plugs and they worked fine for a week and then fouled. E3 plugs are not for our Mustangs. You have two options: 1)Get Platinum plugs. They are recomended by Ford. They last longer. OR 2)Get copper plugs. They give you better spark but have to be changed more often. Our...

I'm not sure if anybody is straight yet but my quick input- Pulling stick shift is for trans fluid. Our cars have to use Mobil1 Automatic Fluid. I filled it from the trunk last time and gravity worked. Differential fluid must be clear also (not grey and lumpy as I've seen) 85 or 90 weight...
