    My Performer heads were used with RRs installed. I did nothing to them but ensure that the mating surfaces and rockers/installation looked OK. Never had any issues. I think they cost me $850 in total, FWIW.

    I carry one, but it's still the 4-lug stock one and I've had a 5-lug setup for nearly 8 years. Never had a flat w/the Stang in 12 years of ownership, and if I did I'd just call AAA as I would like to get my money's worth out of them. Saves gas, too :p

    FWIW I think painting it but leaving the raised strip in silver would look pretty slick. It'd match on both accounts and would tie itself in very nicely IMO.

    FWIW most black powders only need to cure between 350-375 degrees for 10 minutes. :shrug:

    Same here. Long ago I put an A-trim (underpullied, at that) on my stock-headed engine and it was a BLAST. I had it tuned which of course added to the cost, but I'm sure you can get away with running the FMU if you prefer/have to.
