    CAI is installed... got a Q

    yeah my year doesnt have the IAT sensor. atleast thats what i heard. can anyone confirm that for me? I put a plug in it for now it seems to run better with the plug than without it. get back to me. thank you all :hail2:

    There is a small rubber thing coming out of the pipe attached to the throttle body. is this suppose to stay the way it is or is it supposed to be plugged? pic below

    just finished installing my CAI. I was wondering 2 things. Do you have to plug up the extra hole with the rubber around it on the straight tube or does that stay like it is? i provided a pic of what im talking about i circled it in red. Also do you HAVE to put the metal from the old intake...

    engine question

    sounds like a head gasket. the same thing happend to me when i had my buick. the oil was mixing with the transmission fluid and when i turned the heat on in the winter it just blew cold air. just take it in to the shop its doing you no good to be driving it. :banana:

    Why dont you guys just save up and buy a V8 first off insteand of buying a V6 and having to put ****loads of money into it. By the time you supe up your cars you would probably spend as much as you would if you just baught a V8. just my 2 cents

    Exhaust! Yay!

    "But those tips are out in the middle of nowhere." HAHA good one. The flows are really close to the GT sound. I have gotten so many compliments on them. I guess its just personal prefference. Sorry if I came off a little harsh on the exhausts bro.

    that is one of the worst exhausts i have seen. I'm so glad i went with flowmaster I alsmost went with MAC. Mine are nice and snug to the bumper yours are really goofy looking and thin. FLOW FO' SHO

    yeah i usually shift at 3000. I dont have a shift light in my car i just go by the sound sometimes and i find it if i dont push the clutch all the way down i get a better boost. thanks for your help everyone. :hail2:
