    build my mustang

my bet is possibly tmw, due to the launch celebration, or at the very latest, october 1st, when the embargo is lifted. You can however build and price you stang on www.kbb.com or www.edmunds.com (a few minor errors on edmunds).

    Edmunds Question

www.Edmunds.com recently put V6 prices up on their site. When pricing the V6 premium, it gives you the option to choose sport bucket seats, can you get these seats in any color, or just red? And, when pricing the V6 premium there is not an option for the sport appearance package, but there is...

    Ordering a 2005

When you order a car, some dealers request a show of "good faith" or a deposit, this should be between $500-$1000, and all it does is show that you are serious about the car. You can negotiate the price of the car at the time you order it, should be pretty close to invoice if you shop around...

Does anyone know of any 05's being in TX this weekend?

I know this isn't the best thread, and appologize. But, i havent had a chance to see the 05 mustang yet, and live in rural oklahoma, so my chances of seeing one here are about 0. I'm going down to dallas for the weekend and was hoping that there might be one in dallas or pretty much in texas...

This has already been brought up, and proven to be :bs: . As i recall, you posted about the same message in another thread today.

I could have sworn I saw an '05 Mustang on a car carrier today.

the RUMOR is that the 4.6L engines are defective, which is in question since this was reported on the BON site. The main reason they are being held is for the Sep.27th launch celebration.

    My dilema...05 or 04 Mach 1

i would go with the 05 if i were you, but what confuses me is why you would be willing to buy an 04 mach for $27k, when you could get an 04 mach with less than 10k on it for around $22k.

Are these the real prices or not

yes, these are the official prices. I have had it confirmed by my dealer, and the person that posted that on brad's site is very credible.

If your under 20, forget getting a 2005 Mustang, even a V6 unless your rich.....

This guy must have a horrible driving record, im 19 and i just checked with allstate(V6 stang), $500 deductables, and not on my parents policy...It came out to $1900  , which is pretty high, but it's still not $5000 for 6 months. On my parents policy, it'll only by $1500 for a 6 month...

Wow...i hope my insurance quote isnt that bad, i figured it would be the same as when i had my 00 v6, is your driving record bad or something?

For those of you who have ordered...

Thats about the time i'm expecting delivery, and that's due to the fact that the V6 manual transmission will not even begin production until 11/29/04. If you were ordering somethin other than the V6 manual, the second wave of stangs will be built in mid october, so those should start hitting...

if you're still skeptical... http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=5279&st=280 those look like mustang GT's that are about to be sent out. so all of the news that the 4.6L engines are defective and pretty much anything else on blueovalnews is complete :bs:

    Smokin the tires...blackmark thru 3rd

Regardless of how much you like mustang, this thread is still by far the most worthless thread I've seen and needs to be :lock: :nonono:

    460 in a 2005 Mustang?

I personally think you're picking the wrong car to put 700+HP in, first of all...it's a first year production of a new car...it's going to have some bugs, and as soon as you tamper with the engine that drastically, you void the warranty(which is somethin good to have). Second of all, you could...

For those of you who have ordered...

most of the time x plan is the best, but sometimes you can find a dealer that is willing to go under x plan, they make a profit regardless. hopefully pricing comes out before the 27th...so we can all stop guessing at how deep we have to reach in our wallets. :banana...

Dealers need to be more up to date!

A V6 for $30k? :rlaugh: Your dealer obviously has no idea what he's talking about. Ford has published multiple times that the base V6 will be right under $20k and the base gt should be about $24k. I would find a dealer that knows what he's talking about. ps. Those prices are expected...
