    Confused about MAF/CAI questions!!

I think this is the kit you are using since DeMolet does not have a full-length kit for the 94-95. I think it would be possible to use the C&L TrueFlow pipe with a 76mm meter but you'd have to buy an adapter to mate the Densecharger pipe with the new meter (since the meter is not flanged)...

    FMS Wires

I have LiveWires but Taylor has a long-standing reputation for quality. Don't worry, you're coming out with the better deal.

    Confused about MAF/CAI questions!!

Actually, the C&L Trueflow system IS an "end of line" setup. The question of the day is, "Who's meter is better for our cars?"; this is impossible to answer nonbiasedly. Many use C&L and many use Pro-M. Plain and simple. C&L is usually more affordable and convenient which is why I use their...

    Kenne Bell Superchargers

The twin screws in an Autorotor or Kenne Bell do not touch. This results in less noise compared to a roots blower and more importantly, much less heat production. This is one of the reasons they produce more power than the roots-type.

Difference between H-beam and I-beam rods?

Shot peening makes the metal more dense and as a result stronger.

Difference between H-beam and I-beam rods?

I-beam rods are only necessary when your motor makes around 450-up hp and you're racing every weekend. They work up to 6500 rpm...maybe 7000. H-beam rods are a lot stronger but are not necessary unless you're planning on spinning the motor to 8000 rpm. You can always have your rods...

    Confused about MAF/CAI questions!!

This is the C&L setup I use and it works great. It's a 76mm meter and 76mm flow tube. A 9" K&N filter mounts on the end of the meter and is protected from excess heat by the shield. If you use a cold air kit that has a 90 degree bend right before the meter, the meter may have problems...

    Very interesting oil filter study

No problem. I think a lot of us can benefit from his study. Looks like FRAM isn't what it's supposed to be.

    03 Cobra Idler Pulley

That helps out quite a bit. Thank you. So the Metco auxiliary idler doesn't replace a stock one, it actually mounts underneath the blower pulley. Does it really benefit to replace those three idler pulleys with 100mm Metco replacements?

    03 Cobra Idler Pulley

Pics would be great. I want to learn as much as possible about the 03. I was at the Metco booth at the PRI show but I didn't have time to ask questions. I know they make the auxiliary idler, which I see you use, to increase belt wrap. They also make 90 or 100mm billet idlers. How many of...

    03 Cobra alternator vs. 96-up

Does anyone know if the 03 Cobra alternator shares the same housing as the older Cobras? I know its located differently but one manufacturer lists 96-present Cobras as having the same part number. Thanks

Are you having the same problem?

Is it just me or is this website loading slow for everyone? I have DSL and everything else loads fast but I'm waiting up to 2 min. for these forum pages to load.

    Another clutch/throwout bearing question...

SPEC Stage 1 can handle up to 410 lb/ft and since its made of an organic material, its engagement will be smooth but with better grip than stock. Anytime you turn down a flywheel, IMO, you are weakening its structure so I would buy a new one. Some here haven't had any problems with a turned...
