    Roush Woo hoo!

I've seen both sides of this issue... My former car was a REALLY nice 65 Shelby Clone (www.gt350clone.com) that competed in a LOT of shows. Frankly, I was PROUD of it's "Clone" status, and the effort it took to build the car to point it was. I knew it wasn't "real", and that was one of the BEST...

    Rollbar Questions?????/

They work just fine - they actually extend rearward at ~45* angle - much like the 67 and 68 Shelby factory equipment. If they were straight up & down, I'm sure they wouldn't be effective. I think the old SCCA spec was "horizontal, within a range of -5* to +40*". I've actually made the mistake...

    Small Block engine Pics

Ah, what the heck. Here's a few pictures of my former 65 Clone. That's a late model 5.0 motor, dressed to look vintage, along with lots of little tricks, like stainless fasteners, hidden wiring, re-routed plug wiring, etc.... Sometimes, the things you DON'T notice/see are as important as the...

    Rollbar Questions?????/

I have several shots of the Branda street bar installed in my former 65 FB IN THIS PHOTO ALBUM. Hope that helps. :nice: It fit well, and had good rear seat access. I fabricated the tabs for shoulder harnesses - they did not come with the bar.

Want a carb'd late model mod motor for your classic?

I did. All I see is Kar Kraft's complete engine package, along with promises of an upcoming PROPRIETARY "Cyklone" ignition system. How much is that gonna run, and where do you get replacement parts? :( I had HEARD MSD was working on a standalone ignition system for the mod motors, but you...

Roush Looking to buy, could use some experts' help.

Back to the original post - this car is in Wisconsin - that's "almost Canada" for most of us! :rlaugh: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=22&paId=177431838 Sounds REALLY close to what you're after... Disclaimer - I have NO association/knowledge...

Roush New Owner - 00-493 (Peeektures)

Still needs a GOOD cleaning. Front bumper cover was repainted, and they left the numbers off (I intend to replace), but the underhood and dash plates are both there. Saleen signed the dash & radiator cover. Runs pretty well..... :D Supercharger, mats, Ford Leather were all original...

Roush Anybody got "The Saleen Book" handy?

Looks like I bought 00-493 tonight.... 2000 Saleen 'vert, WHITE, factory supercharged, mats, black leather upgraded seats, black top, black rocker stripes. It also presently has the chrome wheels, speedster cover, and light bar. Local dealer friend was at a specialty car auction earlier...

    Roush Opinions on this car?

I'm actually OK with the auto - just don't want to get into something that might become a serious :fuss: on future resale. The wife refuses to drive a 5-speed, so she's REALLY happy about an auto car. If I were buying for me (and me alone), I'd rather have a blue hardtop SC 5-speed car...

    Roush Opinions on this car?

Hi all - first post on the Saleen board. In the process of selling my 65, and considering a 99-up Saleen to replace it - if I can find the "right" car. Anyway, stumbled across 00-68 - 281SC vert, Saleen leather, chrome wheels, hood, big brake, etc. Definitely a hi-dollar optioned car. Asking...

    undercar picture and side exhaust

If you want loud, Spintech makes their mufflers in a front in/out configuration - they're a lot more like the "flowmaster sound" than the Dynomax's.

CF is 1/2 the weight (and twice the cost). Delta Bay is one place to get them (bottom of the page).

Best aluminum rad for my money?

If/when I ever decide to go aluminum, I'd look at the Griffins from streetortrack.com. They have figured out a (FREE!) way to change the mounting bracket angle on 65/66 radiators to give 3/4" - 1/2" more clearance - a great plus with an electric fan. Besides, Shaun & Bill are true Mustang...

How to make a 67 handle

Many different options - all costing varying degrees of comfort, time or money - your choice. ;) When it's ALL said & done, TIRES are the single biggest variable though. My suspension tech page covers some of the options.
