Do I sacrifice my first car?

No problem, making a decision is hard sometimes. It sucks your restoration shop didn't work. Do you mind if I ask what the problem was. Down the road, I'd love to open a shop that does restorations.

9" fitment chat ???? Should I create one

Should I create a 9" fitment chart ? I had one person ask a long time ago and another ask recently for one. It wouldn't be a bad idea but I'd like to get some input. The obvious fields such as your car, year, would be in there plus the "donor car, year", driveshaft, would be there. What else...

Do I sacrifice my first car?

Sounds like you would definitely come out ahead based on what you are saying. I would caution against the flames though bud. If you are truly trying to sell your cars QUICKLY you are actually cutting down the number of people you are appealing to. You'd have to find the right buyer who has...

Do I sacrifice my first car?

To get out of a hole you have to STOP digging and it sounds like you have reached that point. You can look around your shop and start to sell parts you don't need. Your car might be worth more taken apart than put together so make a parts list, go on ebay and see if you can gauge what kinda...

If you have a local mustang club, contact them. They will probably be able to recommend someone.

    Crazy 67 fastback prices

I wouldn't call it a turd but if I were a buyer but I would definitely go hmmmmmm The outside is propped up to look good but they leave a huge rust hole for someone else to fix ? That alone would make me go over that car with a ridiculous amount of scrutiny and there's no WAY I'd buy it sight...

MOOG or not MOOG that is the question

I have never had a reason to question Va Mustang and I have ordered a ridiculous amount of stuff. It's definitely not in their best interests to BS you because you can always return it.

    wtf vertical doors on 65-66?

So if someone does something to the car you don't agree with that means they don't care about the car ? I think the people who take the time to customize their car in any way cares about their car. It's far easier to sit and let the car go to $%#^ than to take the time to customize it...

    Crazy 67 fastback prices

It might not hit the road again. With all of that being wrong, the peron buying it may or may not have an idea of what they are getting themselves into. Either way i think we all agree that person is going to need some deep pockets. It would be "interesting" to invite the purchaser to...

    Crazy 67 fastback prices

For a rust free car....hell yeah I think you got a good deal. You know how much rust cost to get out, even if you do the work yourself.

    wtf vertical doors on 65-66?

Alot of people don't like change  for whatever reason. I think the creative stuff people do to their cars can be great but it can also be over the top. It's like any other piece of art, some appreciate it and some don't. Like I said in another thread, Eleanor is a very divisive topic...

    Crazy 67 fastback prices

LMAO.... Eleanor is such a polarizing topic someone should do a study on why... I'd love to read it. It's definitely affected the fastback prices but I think it's helped all Mustangs go up in value. That movie came out a while ago, I don't see it dying down any. It will happen again when...

    wtf vertical doors on 65-66?

I agree, I don't think they'd look bad at all on a late model Mustang. Be hard pressed to find a buyer if you wanted to see it with that setup as well.

    wtf vertical doors on 65-66?

Just curious...what do you hate about the Ronster. I am kinda indifferent about the car. Some cars just resonate with you when you see them, that one doesn't for me and I can't put my finger on it. I did see some American Racing wheels on it once that I'd love to get my hands on ARE 205...

Gauge paint issues...need a little help from the pro's

Alot of the vendors carry replacement gauges. I would think the model paint would work just fine. I would buy a couple different bottles for the black color and see which one works. Might as well buy a few because if you get the wrong color it's gonna cost you more in gas to go back.
