    SUSPENSION

I installed some Eibach sway bars on mine forever ago, and I noticed a nice improvement. It wasn't as great of an improvement as the springs, sfc's, or control arms, but it was noticeable. EDIT: I just noticed you don't have subframe connectors. Get those NOW!! They will make 100x bigger...

Need a new watch (less than $600)

Holy crap dude! $600 for a watch?!!? That's nucking futs, I can think of like 198209345704 things I would rather spend $600 on. My last watch I bought was a nice Timex Reef Gear or something ocean related, and it was only $80. I love it!

94 GT needs headers thinking ----

if you want loud, go with an o/r mid-pipe, with some SLP's! I had MAC shorty headers, MAC o/r h-pipe, with SLP's dumped, it was insanely loud. I got a ticket for a noise violation!

    Misfire at idle

I doubt your wires are cross-firing. They come tied together from the factory, so that's not usually an issue. I'd also do that water thing (much easier to see at night by the way), to see if maybe your spark is jumping.

New Sub Forum, I need your thoughts.

I agree, the FOX computers are quite a bit different in how things are accomplished. Just look at the difference in how a/f ratios are calculated. Ours is load based, while theirs is mainly rpm based. Maybe we could have a Tuning forum, with the sub-forums being FOX, 94/95, something like that.

    Wiring gauges question

That will be fine. I forgot to mention I have both my gauges run off the same light source too. So both gauges share a power, ground, and illumination wire, and it's no problem to run them this way.

    Computer Removal

No problem dude! It wasn't a stupid question either, especially since there's not a lot of info on this on here.

    Misfire at idle

Oh the way you said it, I thought you meant your whole bowl was loose. The ECT does effect a/f ratio. For instance, on cold startups, the ECT senses the engine is cold, so the PCM delivers more fuel to help startup. So yea, if the ECT is bad, then it could be causing you to run lean.

    Misfire at idle

Inside the bowl, there are two screws that hold the bowl to the base of the distributor. Check to make sure those are tight. One of mine was loose, and the bowl would rock back and forth, even though the cap was tight, and it was causing some funny issues. Just pop the cap off and make sure...

    Exhaust again: No drone please

My MAC cat-back drones less than my old flowmasters, and my SLP (SLP was more loud than anything else, so it was just LOUD, which is equally annoying as drone).

    Arp Head Studs

    I think it's 7/16" bolts, but I don't remember for sure either. :)

    Misfire at idle

Check the balancer, just because it's real easy to check, and they go out quite frequently. FWIW, I would think that a miss caused by bad plugs, wires, low compression, whatever, would be present at any rpm, and not just at idle. But I've been wrong before.

    Computer Removal

There is one main connector (it's a 60pin if I remember right), that plugs directly into the PCM. This may or may not have to be removed. I had to remove mine to get the PCM out. No biggie, just one bolt that holds it in. There are 3 other plugs/harnesses that run directly in front of the PCM...

    Wiring gauges question

Chad, FWIW, I have my oil pressure and water temp gauges wired to the same power source, and ground. Of course they have their own sending wire though. Where are you mounting them? That would determine the easiest places to tap in for power, ground etc.

    hitting the rev-limiter...

One time I just held the throttle WOT bouncing off the rev limiter for about 30 minutes. :jester: j/k! But bouncing off the rev limiter occasionally is not too harmful. It does indeed cut fuel, which if you do it to much (like everyday several times a day), then...

94 GT 5.0 performance problem help

I think we really need some information on what he has done to his engine. Is it stock?

Wait a minute, I thought our A/C systems were the old frion type? Is that not the case?

    Misfire at idle

Bad vibrations at idle, bad pinging all the time, sounds kind of like your balancer. Whacked timing can have some weird effects. Check your balancer, make sure it's not on it's way out.

New Sub Forum, I need your thoughts.

I think it's a good idea. There's quite a bit of tech in the 94/95 section, and a lot of times the tuning threads get pushed to the bottom of the page because of all the gears/exhaust/tires questions, lol. I have a little bit of information I've found, and some I've figured out on my own that I...
