I got a flat tire for Xmass

Are you talking about the rocker panel pinchweld to the floorpan or the subframe? Alot of jacking on the pinchweld with a regular floor jack will distort and flatten out.

Does the car look funny with the wheels 3/4" further foreward in the wheelwell? How much room do you have for the tires?

Who has leak free headers here?

Copper rtv is good for sealing exhaust. I have reused clean intact gaskets on my 5 liter with copper rtv. I agree with the others try to tighten them up again. If that doesn't work pull the gaskets out and use some rtv on them.

    Mach 1 longtubes

The exhaust ports on the 03-04 heads are different then earlier years. The only headers that match the ports I know of are Kooks and SLP. BBK and Mac use the old port shape. They will bolt on, but they restrict the port. If you are unsure just goto the parts store or ford dealer and look at...

Sparkplugs for an 03 Mach 1???

These were old BFG's that were dry and it was like 26 degrees outside. All the cars faster then 9 seconds were told to pack it in. Also it was at full weight, I left in the spare and everything, plus it was the second week I had the car and I wasn't used to launching it. Excuses, Excuses . . .

Sparkplugs for an 03 Mach 1???

Mine has 26,000 miles on it, I was going to switch to coppers for the hell of it but the stock platinum plugs have a nickel coating so they don't rust. I think the only other plug like that in copper is a Champion. The way they sit in the head I wouldn't want rust forming in there; especially...

    Best buffer?

If you want something to use all the time I agree the porter cable is good. If you want a pro detailer rotary buffer get the dewalt 849. It has an rpm labeled dial instead of just useless numbers. It has the right feel and will last just about forever. I was a detailer a few years ago and...

New Bullit pedals are a pain.....

Try installing them on Fox pedals. The shape is completely different so they need to be cut and ground before they'll even go on.

    SVT lightning

I have a 93 Lightning, they tow great, as opposed to the 99+ ones these tow 9,800 lbs and come with a class III hitch on them. They come with heavy duty cooling, (4 inch thick radiator, transmission and oil coolers), along with a thicker 4x2 plow frame and 4.10 gears. The engine never felt...

Changing rear diff fluid...no friction mod needed with Mobil 1??

I was talking to a friend who was a ford tech. I asked him about the gear oil service interval since the owners manual says the axle is lubricated for life. He said its filled with ford synthetic gear lube and its like $30 a quart, and its much better then store bought lubes. 3 qts and 4 oz...

    Saleen Series II Blower questions

I have wondered how the Roushchargers do on the new S197's since it is also an M90. I have read about some people using m90's from supercoupes custom mounted on 5.0L engines, but only at very low pressure.

    5.6 liter v8

If so I am not familiar with it, so could you post a link to where they would be made, I can't say a 5.6 liter ford would be a common engine. I know Nissan uses a 5.6L V8.

    RX8 as a DD?

The new Flat Rock Assembly plant builds the mazda 6 and the mustang on the same line. I'm not sure on all particulars but I remember reading they are limited to something like 250,000 units from the facility(don't know if this is still true) and thats a reason why the 05's were so hard to find...
