    Only difference is that Mach 1 and 03-04 Cobra calipers have 40mm pistons, and are physically slightly larger. The pre 03 calipers are 38mm and slimmer.

    When I need tires mounted the rims go in the bed of the lightning to get dropped off at a shop if I have to. Otherwise they goto the ford dealer and my friend mounts them. I hate rim scratches. :mad:

    I went to the englishtown swap meet last year, pypes had a spot with a large display area. The whole material line was on display, aluminized, 409, 304, brushed, polished. They make a quality product, it has to be an ordering or advertising problem, Pypes is quality from what I have seen.

    I used the kit on my GT, it was alot better then the stock worn out brakes I had. I thought it was a great improvement. However now if I drive the Mach 1 and then hop in the GT it seems like it won't stop for crap.

    I was used to the low end torque of the 5 liter, after driving several PI GT's I was sure I'd never get one myself. However the mach 1 was perfect, has lots of low end pull, and plenty on top. Have fun with it.

    1. I wash the scoop, stripes, and wing with the wash mitt along with the rest of the car. I use s100 engine brightener (found in motorcycle shops) to keep the scoop nice and dark. I use klasse all in one (can be found at www.autogeek.net ) on the stripes and wing, it cleans off any water spots...

    MM&FF did the swap in one of their project cars, Jan 07 issue I think. The D&D crossmember mounts in the stock location, but it has more of a \____/ shape to accomodate the longer T-56 with the farther rearward mounting points. No modifications needed, can still swap back to a T-5 if needed.

    why are open headers bad for our cars

    If the primaries are too short the valves can cool too quickly, and warp. I don't know of anyone having problems with open longtubes, but open manifolds wouldn't be good.
