    nitrous on v6

i have purchased used gears from these guy's before and the quality is good. www.stangparts.com search for them on page 4 in their rear suspension section in their product inventory. they stock both 3.45 and 3.73 for $75 they are a bit pricey for used gears but they don't sell junk either...

add gears while you are at it. it shouldn't cost anymore for the install of gears along with the Truetrac. the gears and diff need pulled anyways

i forgot about the panhard bar. the girdle may not fit. call TA parformance about it the girdle may not be needed with the truetrac but if it fits behind the panhard bar then it will only help axles should be OK. the stock 28 spline axles are quite strong. moser 28 spline axles could be...

i just figured that i would post a pic of the stock open differential for the 7.5 the T-lok looks almost like it. notice there is very little iron to support the spyders (which are missing in the pic) now compare it to the pic of the Detroit Truetrac. here is the pic...

thanks but without guy's like Justin,Mik from www.rpm-mustangs.com, and a few others i would never got to into the 3.8 so heavily. they are 2 great guys justin burned my chip and Mik directed me towards the best engine setup for me. i am glad to share what i have learned along the way so...

i'm confused chassie dyno like a dynojet, mustangdyno or was it an engine dyno? it sounds like to me you are claiming 220rwhp from a chassie dyno. that is a little high but if you have the mods to do it then you do. but not too many NA 3.8's out there running 220rwhp which is it...

    nitrous on v6

actually with the above dyno reading 3.45's look like they will pull hard on top and the generous low end will be enough to limit wheel spin with 3.45's off the line with an 1800 -2400 rpm launch. 3.45 perfect 3.73's damn ner perfect 4.10's roast the hides off the line and drain the top...

    Question about octane

each engine has different quench and different thermal characteristics. octane's only function is to increase the cumbustion temp of gas to prevent detonation (ignition of fuel before spark timing) if your car doesn't knock with 87 it will gain no power with any higher octane rating...

    nitrous on v6

yes it is much stronger. the auburn is at least twice as strong as the ford t-lok. the detroit is more than twice as strong as the spyder style Auburn. a great product and it's about time detroit came through for the 7.5 ford

detroit locker finally makes a LSD for the 7.5 here is a link to a thread i posted over at 3.8 mustang http://www.3.8mustang.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130698 no 7.5 worries now

    What i need-98 V6 stang v.s. 00 Integra GSR

the 7.5 will not crumble. the 7.5 setup properly is the equal of a similar setup 8.8 the ford T-lok is really the only weak sport in the 7.5. the spyders are small and have little support. they blow out causing the rest of the rear to be wrecked. any rear that blows it's spyders will be...

    nitrous on v6

the 4.0 already had forged rods in the explorer and the same pistons before it was in the stang. so no i don't believe ford was intending the 4.0 mustang to be a tuner car. they axed the essex for 1 reason. ford wanted all mustang engines to be OHC designs. a pushrod base engine was not...

    Want a V8

sorry in your other posts it seemed like you just had ex and cai how are you measuring your HP at the crank or ground and how was it taken? 220rwhp is enough for high 13's with the right suspension setup and gears. anyways didn't mean to knock you but if you are puttin 220 to the ground...

    nitrous on v6

here is the girdle link http://www.taperformance.com/rearend.htm i think somebody already posted it but that's ok it is part#TA 1805 and also it is a wise choice to add the bearing cap stud kit which is part# TA 1816 for an extra $20 as for the Auburn LSD click the below link...

    Want a V8

i am fully aware of the fact he has a splitport. his mods will not add 30 crank hp. maybe 10rwhp tops most splitports dyno around 165rwhp stock and about 175-190rwhp with full boltons with longtubes being in the 190rwhp range. where is the extra 30rwhp he claims coming from? i have...

    nitrous on v6

just a heads up for the differential Auburn makes a rather strong LSD for the 7.5 also there is the powertrax locker which replaces the spyders in a stock carrier both are far more stronger than the ford T-lok in my experience. the T-lok spyders are too small and there is little support...

    Want a V8

what other mods do you have?? cause there is no way you are pulling those #'s even with a full bolt on splitport. you added 60rwhp with just exhaust and intake? i have to see a mod list dude. my procharged 98 only made 226rwhp and 267rtqe when i first procharged it and believe me an srt-4...

    K&N FIPK

just take your EBAY CAI and sand it down and paint it. it will give just as much HP as a $180 K&N CAI CAI's will only add 4-5rwhp no matter what brand so why spend that much money on one. put that extra money towards a nitrous kit

    Will a 2000 engine fit a 94.

they will bolt up to the tranny and is a nice swap for more power. swap in the entire engine but a new modified fuel rail will be needed you can get them from www.rpm-mustangs.com i believe also this is the perfect time to swap in a 4.2 truck engine from a 97+ V6 F-150. it is a very...
