    Why get a V6 over a GT? doesnt make sense....

    the 99+ v6's have almost as much as the old stock 5.0 and run just as quick, but can get 27mpg on the highway. the best my 99GT can do is 24 highway and about 16 around town. the V6 is a great car and a great engine. the 04's should be going on clearance soon with the new 05's coming out...

    actually they are the same except for heads and steel crank. the 389 and 391 FT engines out of the 5/4 ton and up trucks are more desireable because of heavy nickel block and steel crank. swap the heads for stock FE's and get a good intake the same goes for the 359 and 361 FT block

    a 23 tooth speedo gear from www.steeda.com will get it as close as possible the 23 tooth gear is for 3.45,3.73 and 4.10 it is closest to the 3.45 ratio so the 3.73 wouldn't be far off but the 4.10 would be about 10mph off. try a speed cal from dallas mustang. also get rid of that...
