    Shaker 500 Speaker Rattle

Mine does the same thing, but only from the passenger door, and only occasionally. It doesn't usually bother me much, since like you, I rarely turn the radio up very loud. After seeing this, I think I'll have them check it out when I go in today to get my state inspection...

The Vert gets a new top....

Glad to hear that you're getting a new top from the dealer. Even if it costs you a bit of money for the swap, I'm sure it will be worth it. Despite the fact that you MAY pay the money for the upgrade, it seems like you've got a good dealer to deal with.... I'd kill for that around here. That...

    Wreck in my Pony

Damn, sorry to hear that man, I had a similar thing happen to me, just two months after I bought the car. As long as they're paying for it, it's OK.... P.S..... is those pictures are in your garage, I think that I need to be your friend.... want some homemade beer???:nice:

    FINALLY! 12's.

congrats on the run, looks like a lot of fun.... can't wait till mine will run that fast.... Always feels great to win, doesn't it? Especially when you beat a faster car that can't control the power:D

    Leather w/red stiching Shifter boot

I'll have to try that, thanks cave diver!

    Tools for exhaust install

Should be a fairly simple install.... you shouldn't need much more than you've already mentioned. But do yourself a favor, if you can find anyone to loan you the tools.... Just buy a full set of sockets and box/open end wrenches. You'll eventually need all of them, and it will be quite a bit...

    Super Snake...605hp and 12.5 quarter mile...WTF?

Its all in the suspension and traction. First thing they can do is ditch those 20" wheels, and get some decent tires..... that alone would make a world of difference.

Road & Track tests the 2008 Shelby Super Snake

I agree with Kooldawg.... traction and tires play a huge amount into the numbers. It may seem simple and cheap to fix, but like someone else said, I wouldn't be surprised if most of these cars ever make it out of their trailers. While it may only put down those numbers, look at some of the...

    Leather w/red stiching Shifter boot

I wouldn't replace mine for the looks necessarily, but does anyone else have the problem of their shift boot rubbing/squeaking, being generally annoying, especially in third gear? I find myself constantly twisting the boot by the handle to get the squeaking to stop...

    Saleen S281SC 2006 Quality?

Sorry to hear that.... I know that I'd be PISSED if I paid that much for a car and had those type of simple problems. Lets just hope that the engine mods were paid a bit more attention to than the rest of it. Best of luck with it all.... at least they are fixing it. Just out of curiosity...

How Well do S-197's Perform in Snow?

My S197 is a bit temperamental in the snow, and even in the rain. If you're serious, plan on a set of snow tires, and swapping out the wheels. It's not that big of a deal....

    NEW RETROBUILT GT500KR-INPUT?

I think the front end has potential, but it has to be done tastefully. The rear COULD look nice, but right now it looks like a cartoon. Some moe time needs to be involved there. It's very difficult to make a new car look old, and one of the key design elements is chrome. You did is right on...

    Lowering Springs & 60' Times...

Be advised that I have very little experience in this area, but I wouldn't think the springs would hurt at all. If anything, the higher spring rate may help to plant the rear wheels. Either way, I think the 1.7 60' is nothing to sneeze at. On stock tires, that seems to be a pretty good...

    New Best at Track !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are some impressive ET's my friend! I can't wait to take mine to the track... I've been wanting to run it stock, but the track doesn't re-open until next march:( I guess the long tubes, mid pipe, CAI, tune, etc, etc, etc will have to wait for a little while longer.... Either way...

    This only happens to me...

Damn, I really sorry to hear that man.... I wouldn't be surprised if a cell phone was involved.... Either way, you're not the only one. I had my old POS mazda for about 8 years without a scratch on it. I had my brand new Mustang GT for all of two months before some girl rear ended me...

    Cheating TPMS

Two things.... First, most PVC pipe is suitable for air pressure, assuming that you follow the correct schedule (40, 80, etc). But thank you for the warning.... much better than seeing a fellow stangnet member perforated by PVC shards. Secondly, I remember reading at one point that the TPMS...

    NHRA Torco Nationals Richmond,VA

Damn, I missed it again!! I don't understand, I live in the middle of downtown Richmond, and I haven't heard a single word about it..... Either way, looks like you had a great time down in Dinwiddie KoolDawg. Those are some great pictures you've got there. Any plans to head to Richmond...

    just got an 07 GT

With the hesitation of being hated here forever.... I'm also a Chevy fan. I still kick myself every single day for not buying that 69 Chevelle SS with a 462cui five years ago. Nevermind the fact that it would have cost me about $200 just to get home (yes, only 3 miles to the gallon), I still...

    Equal Length Shorty Headers

Wait, long tubes won't pass emissions in a state that requires it? Even if you're running a mid pipe / pro-chamber WITH cats? I don't understand why not.... This could seriously affect my plan for parts.... any input?

    My newest wallpaper pic

Crazy how a simple click of the mouse can make a great picture look like a Van Gogh painting.... Looks great from far away, but kinda crappy up close, just like the so call "Van Gogh Girls" (not my terminology). Personally, I'd prefer a clean shot of the car, it's pretty beautiful as is. Then...
