    Isnt scavenging a bad thing? IIRC its when exhaust gases travel back up through the intake valve? So if they promote it wouldnt that be a down side? Or am I thinking of something else? -Justin

    Sounds like the selector is bad. Thats the default setting for when they go bad i think. It automatically comes out of the defrost. IIRC the selector is just a variable resistor and if a connection in the resistor is bad it defaults to defrost. Somebody please correct me if im wrong, but i think...

    your water pump could be going bad. It would cause it to run hotter because of poor circulation especially at higher speeds. It wouldnt take long to check, just take your belt off and see if you can move the shaft from side to side or up and down. If you have any play in it that would idicate...

    What do you mean it is too hot for the wb sensor, You wanna have it about 18 inches down from the block. Thats only a couple inches further than the stock o2's location.

    Well the aem uego controller that i have came with a sensor and a bung. so i welded that into my exhaust and screwed the sensor in and plugged it into the guage.:nice: It only took me about an hour and a half to install.

    Yea just like prokiller said, go with a wideband. They actually give you good info for tuning. Aem and innovate are pretty good. I have a aem wb and it works very well. I got it brand new off of ebay for 150 bux.

    I had the same problem with the pvc boot when i put my trick flow on, I just took the boot and cut about 1/16th of an inch off all the way around with a razorblade and it worked just fine - Justin
