    I just finished the PI intake install....and I can definately say it's a different car with the new intake...I can feel it at all RPM's....I really want to get a dyno done soon....just need some money. Anyone been have any track times Post PI stuff?? not including heads..

    1996-98 4.6L GT or 1995 5.0L GT

    ditto...... 5.0 would be my choice most likely.....get a clean straight stock 5.0 and go with H/C/I and still have a good 3k left....provided you do the work yourself.....this will put you at 300rwhp+ depending on the setup.

    my best was 315 miles to a tank...that was highway driving cruising anywhere from 80-100mph avg 90mph with 3:73 gears..... in the city though I generally get 230 ish

    yeah gene evans is the best price I have found for the new intake......If I had to buy a new one that is where I would get it.......

    you will know it's cracked....you will have obvious coolant leakage...it took me about a week to realize it though.... First started when my coolant light came on...I didn't think much of it just figured it was a little low since things are warming up (live in the desert) so I topped it off...

    OK, Pro 5.0 or TRI-AX shifter?

    I have the Tri-ax.....No problems to speak of...no experience with the 5.0 either... as others have said you will never get a clear answer on this....I think it's really personal preference with the triax and 5.0, however I think the tri-ax generally is more popular

    yes it can be done...but you need to have the swirl dams removed from the heads...this will lower the compression back down to acceptable levels.....if you boost your car the way it is you will probably have to run 100 gas or real low boost....along with a great tune....I wouldn't risk it...

    do you think it's bad if I leave it the way it is right now with the fan running at all times?? I mean I know it's not hurting the car at all...but how bout the fan? I just don't have time to get under the car....probably have to wait till next weekend. I will post the code as soon as I get it

    you should be fine with the PI intake.....I havn't noticed any difference in driveability...car seems to run the same.
