    Any reputable shop with any box building skills will tell you to do a ported box with only two of the 12's. This will gain you more output, even though you would think that using 3 would be better. The mustang, as great as it is, just doesn't have the required airspace to utilize many woofers.

    Actually, you should never pay attention to the rating on a head unit. Those numbers are only *if lightning strikes* as we say in the industry. Turning it up to distortion is not how they get those numbers, they are usually determined at about 16-18 volts, which your car will NEVER acheive...
