eaten up 2 flywheels in 2 yrs

I think it is better to refer to the part as a flexplate instead of a flywheel. It is actually a flywheel, but usually people say flywheel for manuals and flexplates for autos. But what exactly is going wrong with your flexplates? Are the teeth getting chewed up? Are you using a starter that...

What are these holes in my Trick Flow heads' exhaust ports?

the hole you see in the picture above in the exhaust port does not get plugged. It is just a smooth hole drilled to another air passage, and that passage is plugged on the "face" of the head. What I mean is if the heads were on the engine, and the engine in the car, and you are standing in...

    COMPRESSION TEST RESULTS PLEASE HELP!!

you didn't do a compression test before the swap? Your rings are bad, not the heads. If any valves were bad on a new cylinder head, you would have ZERO compression in a cylinder

How long does a new engine run a little warmer?

160 is too cold. You're burning more fuel and you're causing more engine wear at that temp. Heat is your friend!!!

    Valve Spring Retainer keeps breaking

that's strange dude, did you happen to check the valve guide wear when the heads were off? I'm thinking maybe the exhaust valve is floppin around too much and putting stress on the retainer. Maybe your rocker is coming off the valve and pushing down on the retainer?

    compression ratio

stock heads on an 87-93 5.0 are 61-62cc's. So you will virtually gain no compression.

I know this ? has been asked alot.

I'd go with the TFS stage 1, or if you want a little more rumble, the stage 2. Either cam should work pretty good for your setup. What do you have for a carb?

    reuse head bolts?

Just because you have been one of the lucky ones where your stock head bolts worked out for you doesn't mean you can make a statement that new and better bolts are a ploy for ford and aftermarket companies to make more money. Do some searches for how many people have had broken stock bolts or...

    How would you install a T5 5.0?

You said you took the tranny and bellhousing down when you took everything out, and then the engine. But I suggest the same of installing the clutch and bellhousing on the engine first, installing it, then installing the tranny.

What do you make of this?

That box is not a computer, I don't know why it is ever called that. It doesn't act as anything but a switch. It can't do complicated and precise electrical measurements or anything. It's just a stinking switch box.

    Gears and gas

I'm going to have to disagree with 2.73's being the best gear for mileage. In my 85, I switched from 2.73's to 3.45's and gained 2mpg on the freeway from 22 to 24 on average. I once got 27mpg with my 3.45's. If you did happen to lose any mpg's with 3.73's it would not be much, like 1 or...

    Caliper and 14" Rim Clearance?

I imagine that your 1/16 of an inch will be enough clearance. There isn't a lot of flex there. I don't think it would hurt anything to just try it out either, if it does happen to rub on a hard turn or something, it's probably not a big deal.
