    thanks for the replies yea i figured that cam was a bottleneck, but the heads have good potential, the person i bought them from had them on a foxbody with a 331 and was running 10 with them, i just gotta figure out how to uncork them for my setup anyways. plan on getting alot more seat time...

    i have a set of flowtech long tubes, they fit well but for them you will need the drop bracket if you have power steering as far as exhaust goes i just used the 3 to 2.5 collectors and built it with 2.5 pipe and mufflers and made some turndowns, fits good sounds great

    in that case i would say your coworker had a transmission issue, my converter will stall @ around 3100 and it still moves forward at idle, and drives a lot better than the junk TCI saturday night special i had before too and X2 on the trans cooler!

    ive been running that camshaft for 2 years now, and its been pretty good. its a lil small for my setup now, so im sure itll be great for stock heads, upgraded springs are probably still a good idea, ill post ya a vid of the idle when i get home later:nice:

    i beleive it holds 9 qts but don't quote me on that, if you dropped the pan you should add at least 2 1/2 or more qts to it, whats the level on the dipstick?

    if so, what offset, backspace for the wheels, i don't want em to stick out too far from the fenders, its gonna be a 255/60/15 Et Street, on a 8 inch rim, but the backspacing etc. always confuses me

    the popping from the exhaust would tell that cyl 1 is on tdc of the exhaust stroke, pull the dizzy out and turn the rotor 180 degrees, and drop it back in leave everything else the same, it'll fire
