If the engine is idling and you don't have a lot of drive time your going to have
black plugs. I would drive it around and put some miles on it. Mine also smoked
and it burned my eyes and after a couple hundred miles it went away.
Hey I feel your pain. I did the same thing on my 85 Cougar a few years
back. My Dad and I spent 5 Hours pulling everyything off and it looked alot
like your truck. My Dad and I had Lunch and I said Dad I think its going to
be a miracle if this thing ever moves out of the garage. We got...
I did mine last winter. I Added a 2 gauge pod on my console for the
other 2 gauges. I went with the less expensive gauges and recovered the
speedo gauge. I think I had $135.00 in it for everything.

You can drill the holes out on the electric fan shroud to fit the factory
locations on the radiator so it can be bolted up. Trimmed the top and
bottom to match the sides. Its pretty close to the pulley but the fan is
slightly offset so it does fit. Used the DC controller to operate the...
I did a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Im redoing
my Trunk and added some sheet metal over the Fuel tank for added protection. My Question is I want to cut and install some carpet. What
do I use to hold the carpet in place on the metal surfaces in the trunk?
Is...
15x10 on mine. This is a old pic but I did upgrade to a P295-50-15.

That is the reason I bought the DC controller. Its a Varible switch
so your not run the electric fan full power until it clicks off. Know I
had a Blue Black and Brown wire on my Taurus fan. On mine Brown was
low speed and Blue was high Speed.
Im installing a Taurus Fan on Mustang also. Im Running a 20" radiator and
I drilled out the holes so it fits in the stock fan shround locations on
the 20" radiator. I also bought a DC Controller to run the fan. Its a
Variable controller that turns on slow and builds up speed as you need...
Did you get your engine up to temprature. Mine had the same thing
And I thought it was the manifold also. It was just alot of cold starts
and Idle time that caused my problem. As soon as my Mustang was road
worthy I changed the oil and ran it on the highway and never had the
problem...
Hi Guys
A couple of questions for you. I have my ford Taurus fan installed in my
69 Mustang. Its installed on the engine side of radiator. Do I hook up the
wires so its pulling air through the raditor or pushing it through?
Second Question. Im waiting for the the cotroller that I...
If your interested I just bought a brand new one from summit. Its 17"
Chromed Flex Fan. I paid $40.00 for it including shipping. I would let it

I did the granada disc brakes swap with my 69 and they work great. I
did a 5.0 booster and modified the firewall to make it fit. Its pretty easy
to do. You have to make the hole a little bigger and drill out the 5.0
booster holes. I took the rod and turned it upside down and it...
I also had the same problem that you had and I installed a centerforce
II and Ive had no problems what so ever. *********One thing to
check and this was the main problem with my first clutch is the Pressure plate bolts. I had bought some Mr gasket bolts when I intalled my first ram...
