Ive also noticed this with my 69 also. ON the highway its about 180 to
185 degrees, but if I let it sit and idle it creeps up to 200 205 degrees so
I wasn't sure how hot is to hot. Thanks for the info
I had my mustang painted last year and I didn't want any fuel comming
out on the new paint job. I think I tried about 6 caps before I found one
that fit it really nice. To tell you truth Im not sure what car the part #
fits but it works.

Hey Guys I found a fuel cap that will fit under the pop open cap. You
have to remove the old spring and seal from the pop open. The cap is
Napa 703-2005 part #.

Yea your right. There was a fulltime power that connects to battery
and the other wire which is ingnition power on. I did double check the
wires and there wire correctly.

with? If it worked fine before you started you probably have a bad starter
