GM, Nissan, and Toyota, Oh My? Possible Merger?

All of the big three say their hurting and are to far in debt. But, the truth is when you're a major corp. you are never really out of debt. Research, developement, quality control, testing, advertising, chairity donation, sponsorships, racing, CEO's, meeting outings and not to mention the cost...

    my car sucks!

What good is all that power when you can't apply it to the ground. Add some good rear control arms and sticky tires. Next, aluminum flywheel and driveshaft. There are more gears then just 3rd to 4th. So, if all your looking for is power to pull away from them at those speeds, add a 9psi blower.

    wooden intake spacer! good idea!

I'm not trying to derail him or anything. I'm just putting my two cents in. Isn't that why you would post a thread anyways! Look, I have a idea. Take the wood, make the spacer, use it as a mold and mass produce some poly/fiberglass spacers to sell on ebay. I get 10% of the profits for the...

    wooden intake spacer! good idea!

Umm, wood + gasoline vapors= termites The vapors alone will eat away at the wood no matter what you soak it with. Want something cheap and homeade, try high temp PVC sheets. Maybe some high temp lexan.

    Quick ? about air/fuel gauge

My narrowband meter actually did prettly good. It did move alot but, actually stayed at or just below stoich. Works really good now that I have the wideband sensor and LM-1 lambada cable hooked up to it.

    i dunno what to do

Factory E7's are proven good till 300hp at the crank untouched. With the right intake and exhaust a cam WILL help you get 240-250 at the wheels.

    Will this combo make 500hp?

Ya, but I was just quoting what I've seen from some JY turbo fabbed work. Couple of them were getting 400 at the wheel with just 7psi. That's pretty close to 500 at the crank. Those were without tuning also.:nice:

Heat extractor hood installed. Minor whoring ensues.

Is there a weight savings from the stock hood? Just wondering how much "less" it ways from a stock piece? Wasn't too sure how it would look on a LX. I'm next in line for one also, only 285.00 more to go before I get one.

Actually got pulled on by a Civic on the highway...funny ending

Well I don't have 4.10's but, I do have 3.73's. Must be the difference. When I had stock heads(ok they were gasket matched) and stock intake(lower ported), my car on the highway/interstate would pull good all the way to redline in 4th. Which was 128mph. So I guess I got confused about the run...

    OMG! IDOIT.

That's what I was thinking. I wanted to look away in despair but couldn't do it! I was laughing at how serious he was. I watched it hoping to see a fast car and a shot of it going 11's in the 1/4. Then at the end I realized I just wasted 2:42 seconds of my wrenching time. Oh well, I'll just...

MI Stangnet Test and Tune Night WED 7-12-06 @ Milan Dragway

Regal's are lighter then the GTP's and faster. My daily driver is a N/A 3.8 regal. I have some mods done to it and it keeps up with the stock GTP's.
