You better listen to these guys. Take it off now, looks awful on your car. You better just ship it to me so I can put it on my car. I'll even throw in my old stock hood for the trouble.:D :flag:
Go on ebay and by some old ford iron's set up for flat tappets. Port and polish them. Send them to the machine shop to have them cleaned/checked and a street valve job done. BAM! Just add a cheap dual plane intake and a 600 holley. Then, enjoy the car.
Pictures speak a thousand words. As for TRW forged pistons. I know that the stock forged pistons in a 89-92 are TRW's. They have four valve reliefs on each piston. Not sure if any of the 351's from that time line came with them. Post up a pic of them.
What rocker arm mounts are the heads using? Pedistal or Stud? What tightening seq./proceedure did you use on the rocker arms? Do you have the MAF sensor calibrated for the 24lb. injectors?
I thought that to, but ya never know. Besides if he did, that could be the source of the hesitation right? Can't make power when you're choaking the motor with too much fuel!
I'll try to translate!

Maybe he meant he advanced 3* "more" from the stock/base of 10* for a total of 13*.
Bump your timing up till you get light detonation. Then back off 3* of timing. That's how I did mine.
completely stock motors with a single turbo kit @ 8psi put down 370-380whp.
I do believe the cam will cost some hp. But, then again, I've heard smaller cams offer a better power band with turbo's.
Might be easier to just yank the motor/trans out. You said you have a hoist and a forklift. Spend 400.00 and just rebuild the motor and have all new gaskets and bolts.
