    well, you in trouble if you dont have any of the OEM cast iron shims to start with.......i suggest you get some from ayard, or some other method. you need the diff in there with the shims you can get, then adjust the backlash using other shims, or swapping the shims side to side...

    roughly, about 10hp per lb of bewst.........can get alot different with other factors, like if you had a cam specifically designed for your combo and boost......then maybe 15hp+/lb of boost.......not to mention what kind of fuel you have a available to you, and how ragged edge you wanna go on...

    well, none of those mods are going to give you any mph......... if it is a non lockup converter, i would say 300-400 rpm over where you are at now, if it's lockup, your rockers might give you half a mph, at best......so you should be fine.
