    if it was from a 5.0 queergar, the tranny will be nearly identicle, will have a lower speed governor, and the shifter lever will be wrong, get a stang lever.......the vb must come out to do this..... might as well put a shift kit in it. b&m sells the stang lever by itself, and has a cheap shift...

    do you need to rebuild your motor, or can you buy a shortblock ??? as for companies, never heard of anyone getting ripped off from CHP, or DSS....... THEY RUN ~ 1200-1400 for a 306 shortblock, generally. good luck!

    i say kaka cost ya 5 bills to balance it.....plus a machine shop will likely have to do some work to the crank, and maybe the rods..... why risk it. contact adperformance, he can hook ya up with a cost effective, inexpensive stroker kit........with good parts.

    These cams are all over the place spec wise......i have seen anywhere from 260/260/206/206/444/444 all the way to 270/214/444 the only thing that remains constant, kinda.....is the lift. and the lsa is all over too, from 112 for some, to 118 for others..... who knows really.......

    uhhhhhhhh, yeah! i paid 4 for gt40 with NO extrude honing (thats 900 bux on iron heads btw!) and no rockers......... so, 500............. yeah. thats a steal. get some good springs tho, and then a custom cam..... make those tfs combo people look stock.

    they are cast sealed power pistons. they can take a 100 shot, or 10lbs no sweat, just tune it right.

    get that to a 2.2, and your running ~ 16.6's at the same altitude....which say it really is 1 second less (sorry, not that easy...what was barametric pressure? i have raced at sea level tracks that have "1200' air"...) anyway, this in theory puts ya at ~ 15.6's, which is what my stone stock 91...
